What I'm referring to is the content of the skit, which is that rather than treating Stewart like the elder statesman of journalism he eventually became, his role in the skit is "some shitty late night host." It's odd to see him be referred to in that way, because this was filmed some 20 years ago I imagine and he has become so much more than that. This bit would not be written this way today.
