The bike does run very lean (lower percentage of gas to air) , and will run even leaner with a free flowing exhaust. The only way to rich (higher percentage of gas to air) up the mixture on an EFI is to switch ECUs or have the stock one re-mapped - which you can't do on the L/RL. Changing the ECU to a Vortex or the new GET (ECUs that are programmed richer for aftermarket exhausts and air boxes) when it comes out is pretty plug and play, but the cost may be a bit high. @@papatony19 Thank you, Anthony!
Could you feel the weight difference on the bike ?
I felt the difference going from stock to the Yosh. Maybe a tiny bit going from the Yosh to the Graves.
@@JohnTYoung thank you. Love your content. I just got a 450l!! I’m way pumped. So much hate regarding this bike. I was stoked to see someone enjoying it as much as you!
Hows the sound compared to the stock header? A ton louder?
I did not try the Graves with the stock header, so I'm not sure. I imagine it would be quieter tho.
I just bought a 2022 today and I want to change the exhaust and loose some weight. This one sounds pretty loud. What did you end up with? Thanks in advance
I've had the Graves for a while now. It's loud, tho not as loud as the Yosh.
@@JohnTYoung Thanks, as your reply came in I was watching your 16k review and I saw you still had it. I’m dropping everything into shopping carts and I’m going to have it all shipped as it’s available. Definitely the Rekluse RadiusCX, the rear rack and the Reckless 80 bags so I can share them with my 890 Adv R.. I’m probably going to mirror most of what you’ve done except the Rally tower. Thanks for your video’s
You’re welcome. You’re going to love it!
Is there any way to get around the melting of the taillight?
Mine didn’t melt until I put the Graves on. Not sure why.
What do you use as a video editor?
Adobe Premier Pro
What header do you use with the slip on
You can use any… the header for the CRF450X works well
$800 for a slip-on is crazy
Welcome to the 2020s where every manufacturer is squeezing us for money.
Will you sell me your adapters? I'm putting a fmf slip on on my oe pipe. Thanks
If I don't keep the muffler I'll have to send them back with it. Sorry.
Anyone know is this slip on would fit on a mega bomb header?
I don't know, but Graves Motorsports might...
Tacomike did a teaser video showing a few different combinations of pipes/mufflers on a dyno and he also weighed them. I suspect that vid will be out soon.
What tires are on the bike?
Motoz Rallz. Great BDR 80/20 Tires.
@@JohnTYoung- i have a 701 Enduro and want to get rid of the twinduro tires. Thank you!!
@@Community-Action you're welcome.
Yoshi for me.
Yosh is nice.
Looks like your tailight etc is loose and vibrating. 11:19
Nope. It does that to keep from fatiguing from the vibration. It's mounted in rubber because that which does not bend, breaks. Honda knows a thing or two.
