So, the one unresolved question from the doc, that I recall anyway: Why specifically didn't Marcus forgive their father. The only deduction I could make is that he knew...and didn't protect them.
I can't quite forgive my grandmother. Because she allowed my uncle to abuse myself and my siblings. His own daughters as well. She was an abusive woman herself, but she never once said anything to stop him from screaming at her as well.

I think he did know, but choose to deny and ignore which may explain his distant mean attitude towards the boys. It is highly likely his wife was very harsh and did not love him emotionally or physically. He couldn't control her so he disconnected,
Sherese James-Grow to be fair this wasn’t a normal home, and i doubt the parents slept together, or barely co existed. It’s mentioned that their Dad would stay in his wing of the house and rarely come out
Beautiful men 👍🙏🏻💗
Total respect for these brothers, heart breaking documentary..
This film was riveting. What a gift Marcus gave Alex and yet, it was not without negatives. These men are quite amazing.
I cried so much from this documentary
Looks like their mom withheld her motherly abilities and love by keeping them separate from the house and not letting anyone getting close to actually love those boys. It's so sad makes me mad too. So amazing they turned out so well. The mom looked like a man in a lot of ways I found that very interesting. I wonder what happened to their bio dad.
He died in a car accident, 3 days after they were born. Alex was brought home 3 days after marcus. The bio dad collected him from the hospital, was in an accident. Went through the windscreen.
@@AshLoRo Wow. okay maybe things would have been different for the boys if the dad was around.
@Zillion X How well I know that I wish I had had that.
Now I want to know who’s the mother is. I want to know who they were abused by. They say about being left at dinner party’s, walls covered with paintings. Aristocrats
As a mum. I am horrified. As a human. And growing up back when things were not spoken about. I'm not surprised. I'm so happy they got their 10% back.
I've watched this documentary 10 times and I learned something new and feel a different emotion each time I watch it. I wish I could meet these guys they are incredible
I realy respect these wonderful brothers bless u. Both and ur famliys xxxxxx
Maybe it’s a blessing not to remember the horrific treatment from their parents. Very emotional story.
These men, fathers, husbands (grandfathers now or in future) are so incredibly brave to share their story. The original story of Alex losing his memory was so interesting I had no idea that it’d lead where it did. I was a sobbing mess the entire time.
What like to hear their siblings story. That "mother" was a physopath
Great documentary. I guess I'll have to buy the book. Documentary doesn't explain why the boys had to sleep in a out building and not in the main house and why or what made the step father such a bully.
Probably she didn’t want to see the faces of the boys she abused every day.
Keiori Ren Implying. And yet she dropped them off at other addresses to be abused
@jodidavis. I had many questions too ...they did not include in the documentary. That was thier stepfather...but Im not sure what he was asking forgiveness for? And why weren't the gifts given to them? Also they had a brother and sister younger than them by the stepfather.
@@shicks9577 The father was a bully and very harsh with them. Marcus said he didn't know they were being abused. That may not be true but the father also had a seperate life to them and his wife. He had his own area which he lived in away from the mother so it seems he wasn't involved with his wife much. He could of been saying sorry for the way he treated them but not apart of the abuse.
Learn about Narcissism- go to Sam Vaknins utube to understand Psychopathy. Narcissistic Abuse- Histrionic personality disorder etc everyone should know this!
Just watched it on Netflix. Devastating and tragic, but beautiful how the one protected the other!
I’ll never for get the anguish in Marcus face!
Marcus's pain broke my heart, I adore his love for Alex.
their mom is rotting in hell.
I watched this and it brought about memories I burried so long ago. I feel like I'm dead inside.
So sorry to hear this. So many of us suffered.
🌸🌸
Even families who remember all the secrets tell themselves and others a pleasant story.
Denial of the truth isn't exactly helpful though. I know this guy's heart was in the right place, but I'm not sure I agree with it. I can see how it would be tough to pick a good time to tell him such a horrendous thing though.
Tom Dickenharry sadly true.
Heartbreaking documentary I feel for both of these men and the little boys they were
So, the one unresolved question from the doc, that I recall anyway: Why specifically didn't Marcus forgive their father. The only deduction I could make is that he knew...and didn't protect them.
I can't quite forgive my grandmother. Because she allowed my uncle to abuse myself and my siblings. His own daughters as well.
She was an abusive woman herself, but she never once said anything to stop him from screaming at her as well.
In another interview Marcus said in general the step father as extremely unkind and not a very nice person at all.
Motorcycles are awful. A boy who had grown up in my building died at 18.
The power of love. Angels made him to only remember his brother because that was the only family member that truly loved him. Great documentary .the story was told so well.
I just finished the Netflix documentary and it was shocking, heartbreaking and scary. I admire Marcus for trying to protect Alex for all those years. Glad that Alex finally got the answers he needed and that they both can now find the peace they deserve.
What a beautiful amazing gift Marcus gave to Alex. That is true unconditional love. ❤❤
Well said.
I wonder if her behavior was caused by her brain tumor or was the tumor caused by her nastiness. Hmm.. 🤔
And not a word about the rich and powerful names and surnames involved in all the abuse. Because Sky have orders from top to not talk about it. Shhh 🤫🤫🤫🤐🤐🤐
Twins have a special bond! This is proof ! 🇮🇪
I can still barely talk about it and I'm 54 years old
I am 72 and can still hardly talk about it.
SPOILER ALERT! Watch Tell Me Who I Am, their very moving documentary, BEFORE watching this interview
Yes, I guess so, because watching this was very frustrating, not knowing what had happened.
Definitely!
Such a great brother 👏🏻 he made me cry at the end
I’ve just watched the Netflix documentary… I am shaken by this… Courage, even now, Twins… 💕💕
I watched this a few days ago, it broke my heart. What a fantastic brother ❤️
Who were the clients ? why nobody ask about this
Sincere, compassionate interviewer.
