I drive for CRST as well. A few tips for trucking is use a seat cushion Freightliner seats are horrible and I feel like I’m sinking into the seat, get a refrigerated cooler with a DC plug in because the fridge is too small, make sure to Pre and post trip inspect trailers before dropping them or else someone can get stuck with a trailer requiring hours of repairs, when a trailer is empty inspect the inside for any holes on the roof and floor, and get a push broom and dust pan and sweep the floor, and whenever you are off duty always be in the front seat when the a load is being delivered or picked up. Every customer deserves a clean trailer.
Maven We'll take you on an interesting route that's for sure. Always use the google map to see the location that you're going to, so you can find your Entrance for trucks, so you're not on the other side of the building backing out when you could have just rolled red and use google for only landscape To check where your shipment and you're receiving is at. When you get there.
Yeah, it should shut off and turn on by itself. You're gonna have to go in the settings. I vaguely remember how it works but. But I do know you can turn up the idol. And then it turns off and then it turns back on. On its own.
@@KeepitSlowTrucking the snow stopped the truck from crossing over the highway I actually thought we were going down a hill I just held on to my bed till it stopped. He told the cop he was reaching for something but a trucker behind us said he been weaving in and out the lane for 5miles before it happened
Congratulations that is awesome love the new truck been wanting to get back into it my wife and I both miss trucking and no company will touch me cause of the small minor incidents
No your a/c stays on all the time if you turn it on. You have an electric APU. It will stay on for hrs and cool the truck inside if you have good batteries. I had to get all 8 batteries replaced. You don't have to run the truck to keep it cool
But I will say it is a good company. Didn't have anything bad to say good people all round. No matter what terminal you go to. But for me Team driving, it was an experience. But most of the time I was tired and I felt like I was not up to the task So to speak I just could not sleep when somebody else is driving. But I can drive during the night I can drive during the day. It’s only drop and hook. I wouldn’t say it’s a lot. It’s more driving

Yo keep the truck running if you got a trailer connected just release the tractor brakes
what if you want to drive solo after training?
You got to drive with the company for at least 3 months before you can drive solo.
ok i’m in training now on my second week so i can’t go solo after my home time ? @KeepitSlowSilly
@@B.L.U.Etruckingyou can try but I doubt it. At least 3 months experience is needed
@@KeepitSlowTrucking ok thanks for all the information
