Cobra have really upped their game in the last year or so when it comes to irons. I've got the 2022 Cobra Forged Tec irons and they're fantastic. The full lineup for 2023 is really strong from Cobra.

Yesterday I got fitted for new irons and I was looking for something like mizuno, titleist or taylormade. I play whit 5 hcp and I tested many different irons from mizuno, titleist, taylormade, callaway and wilson with many different shafts and ended up with these Cobra king tour irons with $-taper 120g stiffs. I never believed that I would go and buy Cobras but I simply wanted best irons for me and my swing. Those felt and looked amazing too! Cant wait to get them in my bag. Might take couple weeks beacuse got em +0.5" and 2 upright.
This is my first year gaming srixon irons (blended mkii zx5 4-6 and zx7 7-pw). The are amazing! Softest feel I've ever experienced. Going to keep them for years to come
I absolutly love the look of the cobra, but my choice was I230 with Recoil shafts. Better dispersion and fewer mishits. I also considered I525 with retro specs. Great review.
I completely agree Steel. I have test so many irons on this list and nothing came close to the performance of the Wilson, yet in most videos they are not mentioned.

Enjoyed the video. From what you said about the P770 and i230, it sounds like you might have liked the P790 as much or more than the i230, and more than the P770. Maybe do a shoot out on those?
I think the PXG iron is all round the best buy. Especially as lower handicap players might have more specific needs like a heavier swing weight. One of the lowest price on test. Free fitting buy Pxg trained fitters. Very quick build and delivery and on the fitting once you’ve got the right shaft the fitter can play around with the swing weight to dial in the feel.
I disagree. While I agree the very best irons come from Mizuno, the very best irons are MP-32 from 03-04. In my humble opinion the very best blade ever made. 😁 I know they were comparing new clubs.

i ordered the I230 in december and dropped to 10.6 h/c in not that favourable conditions at present.They are forgiving good height stop asyoud expect now but the spins very good with micromax not had fliers and feel as good as my old Jpx921 forged cracking club from Ping

@@JDSFLA I actually have some listed I got the sterlings and two pairs of eq1nx apollo stiff flighted shaft for sale and they are good especially in performance and gapping 10 yard gapping each club. I like them better than cobra because everything the same weight you can’t tell the difference in each club so it helps a player. And I have no problem switching . You just have to know where ball positioning is on traditional length and know how too swing for each club . Other than that it’s no biggie
Anyone who selects a cobra when Bryson just left it... well I'll leave it up to you all. I picked the Mizuno and 790 for me. Just got fitted last week. Huge difference in m2-790. I hit 20 yards further and tighter groups 7 iron wise.
You’re thinking of the 790’s. 770’s are very much designed for low handicappers. They’ve got basically the same profile as the p7mc’s and very similar lofts, but just a touch hotter off the face and the long irons are designed to launch a bit higher
Recently had a taylormade fitting and tried the mb and the tw spec for a laugh and it was like swinging a sharpened knife! 🤣 I’m a 8 handicapper and had. I change. The 770 felt amazing
The p7mc is a clone of the jpx 923 tour to be fair tho. I had the jpx921 tour and I just kept losing so much distance on slightly thin shots and it just was excruciating. Moved to the cobra king tour mim from last last year and it’s so much more forgiving. I feel like for people who aren’t plus handicappers or who actually have lives and responsibilities (for example not a pro golfer) should not be using tour level irons or anywhere near it. Mate we got work and family to juggle we don’t have time to be hitting the range everyday and making sure our striking is perfect. Why not make the iron game easier on yourself and enjoy golf lmao
Im sorry. If you are not a plus 5 that has a 117 mph driver speed dont bother. Im a plus 3 and can work a 790 or t200 just as good. If you. Now, these irons allow you to control spin within 200rpm. FORGET FEEL! These are for players that can ABSOLUTELY control spin. Because spin controls distance! That is why you buy these. Control the distance with 3 percent variability. You can tell he has no idea. Dodnt talk about spin and how he can increase and decrease spin. High ball flight.. whats the spin. Low ball flight.. what is the spin. Draws... what is the spin.... fades. What is the spin. You get the picture. The EGO is crazy. Distance is determined by SPIN
I can’t have any offset. I find them too drawy, however I’m not a big hitter. 7 iron around 150 carry. So blade isn’t any good I suppose. What club would you suggest.
I don’t think the hollow body’s are built to last long. I had a set of pxg’s and by the 2nd season the 8 iron was going 30 yards longer at times. It’s my 150-60 club and imagine flying the green by 20 after splitting a fairway. I’ve been playing my srixon z785 ever since.

the King Tour has been splendidly made since the MIM series. The dispersion, distance, and workability is one of the best in its category.

I am a 51 year old, 5 handicap and I will be getting Ping G430’s with 7, 6, 5 hybrids. Hit a high draw walk to ball and repeat!

Sounds like the PXG blade could've been swapped for the 0311t - which is more like the p770 and i230 in my testing.
