Dashain/Dahi Jatra Vlog

Khadga jatra is celebrated on the day of Ekadasi marking the victory of Tripura Sundari Mai over demons.Six lingos(doja) are decorated with clothes,bangles & ornaments.People dance along with doja on the premise of temple of Tripura Sundari Mai & different other rituals are done.
Dahi jatra is a unique culture celebrated only in Tauthali.With a belief that they would have a never ending supply of dahi throughout the year, farmers offer dahi to Tripura Sundari Mai as a prasad anually on this day.Youths from different club and gau palika collect money from different sources and bring dahi for this big day due to lack of dahi on sheds these days.Youth splash dahi into each other and celebrate this day with great enthusiasm.Dahi is also distributed among visitors afterwards as a prasad of Tripura Sundari Mai.#Tauthalijatra#Sindhupalchowk#Dashainjatra.
