What about Ocean Colour Scene tho? Easily on par with the stone roses and prime oasis and don't get why but often forgotten but was one of the biggest bands of the 90's like they smash so many other bands like the verve or blur or pulp and just so many others did produce some and then more and more wishy washy tunes over time I will say but even later in the 00's Go To Sea what a banger of a tune

They've always been real. There's no flash. Warts and all. Self-taught, working-class. More of a gang than a band. They didn't go for this Dave Grohl "everybodies pal" show, even if you think their cunts, they never tried to be anything else. Stealing (possibly improving) 70s riffs and not giving a fuck if you like them. Very punk and very raw. Sorely lacking in today's world where everyone is expected to be perfect.
