This is kick-ass because it's not pompous and filled with weird time signatures and breakdowns every 40 seconds or so. More prog bands ought to play like this, then the subgenre would explode.
@thekingyugioh1 HAHAHAHAHA I was thinking that too back in the day (when I was in high school)...that notion stands today but I still like it cuz even though his playing is modelled after Yngwie's, he still has some licks that stand out - and that i associate with him exclusively! hhaha :P
@brittanyisaketten By now a bunch. But mostly progressive metal and progressive rock now fit my tastes at the moment. Takes a long time to really develop a musical taste (or for me at least). Why do you ask?
I know this is 9 years old, but the reason it sounds similar is beacause the the harmonic progression in that Part is limiting. Accidental Reproduction of already existing Melodies are highley likley to happen.
