Just because a Band is doing anything that is remotely Like Mamsteem It doesn't mean they are copying him. He might have started the Neo-classical Genre but they are only continuing for further Generations.
I need to find more bands with this kind of neoclassical power shred! This is still incredible after many years of listening to it. Majestic is another of the keyboardist bands, and also heard vitalij solo stuff and ring of fire, any other bands y'all recommend would be appreciated, need this kind of virtuosity though. Thank you
Paganini's Violin Concerto no. 4 in D minor allegro maestoso thats that they play at the beginning and malmsteen plays it too before far beyond the sun
@@AuroraSymphony Adagio in their Underworld album comes close. Also recommend Kinziner's 90s albums, similar sound. Neo-classical metal like this is my favorite
I agree, and I hate when people call a band a rip-off of another band. They know what they want to sound like, and that's how they play. If you don't like it don't listen to it, but don't give them shit because they're not the first band to go for the sound they're doing. I promise you that every band takes some influence from someone else and you could probably call any band a a rip-off of something else if you dig deep enough. Why does it matter?
Garrett O'Rourke I agree what many don't realise is look at the genre Neo-Classical/Power Metal many bands due tend to sound alike and it's only because every band does influence each other. Many say oh look they're stealing from the classical composers and they're trying to be the next Beethoven, Mozart or Paganini. When all they are doing is carrying on for further generations to enjoy and influencing others in the process. We should be so lucky that we have this kind of music to enjoy.
Malmsteen was ok in his heyday but this band has musical skills and use them to their capacity. Listen to their instrumental at 2:53. R.Andersonn ist magnificent.
yes. indeed. richard anderssen (their keyboardist and Mastermind) said in one interview that he adores Yngwie and his playing is almost like a tribute to him. they were talking about making an album together but I think they ended up not doing it.
I was thinking the same when i've heard this song. But when i've listen whole album -BOOOOOM!!! AMAZING!Especially their third album "Optical Ilusion".Pure masterpiece.I'm listening that stuff every day!Maybe they are malmsteeen/Symphony X clone. But i think they are'nt.I like it anyway...
this sounds like an opening for jojos bizarre adventure like seriously which of these came out first the resemblance to season 2's opening is uncanny (yeah i knw this came out first but real talk)
I think Malmsteen is a brilliant technical guitar player, but his composition leaves a bit to be desired because he does rework a lot of classical pieces, one of which is Mozart's 25th Symphony, which he used as the basis for Overture 1622. Shredding was never particularly popular in clasical music, I imagine because there were some fears that it took away from the melody, which isn't completely untrue.
Paganini's Violin Concerto no. 4 in D minor allegro maestoso thats that they play at the beginning and malmsteen plays it too before far beyond the sun.. this is a common thing for a neo-classical/progresive power metal band, not some unknown random anime band..
@@Freawulf Hi. If you enjoy listening virtuoso keyboard/piano players like Andersson, listen to Hiromi Uehara, she plays prog jazz. Hope you like her music.
@IThygus I am assuming that you think this is a good thing. If that is the case you should check out the band Adagio also, they sound a whole lot like Symphony X, more so the than this band, but still far enough away to be original.
can somebody post something in english here. i don't wanna be a dodo but i only speak english and all this talk in german and spanish leasves me wondering what the all saying.
their technical ability is wonderful, but the vocal really stick with the keyboard's play, so there's no emotion in it. Only instrumental will do it just fine.
The progressive parts are really cool. The neo-classical parts sound pretty horrible though. sounds exactly like like mr malmsteen and all of his stuff sounds the same...so i feel like i've heard this song a million times before even though i've only heard it once. i think the self proclaimed sole creator of neo-classical rock\metal also single handedly destroyed it by being so repetitive.
That is the most epic neoclassical solo i have ever heard. and the guitar is layered with the keyboard.
You haven't listend to Rhapsody and Luca Turilli I assume
The outro finale is one of the coolest endings!
Yea I've never heard this before but the end was awesome
Brilliant Neo-Classical Metal!!!

The keyboardist is probably one of my favorite keyboardists of all time.
him and
Vitalij Kuprij
VK is beast
Him and Jens, of course. Yup, hands down, my two favourite modern keyboard players! Followed by Vitalij Kuprij and Janne "Warman" Wirman, ΙΜΗΟ.

I was looking for a new band to listen... I have been searching for around 2 hours and this was the last try... Thanks god I didn't give up ^^
Great Track!!! Main Riff based on Paganini's Violin Concerto No.4
most epic guitar and keyboard instrumental section ever...

3:43 Mozart's 40th Symphony, 4th movement.
Paganini's Violin Concerto no. 4 in D minor allegro maestoso thats that they play at the beginning and malmsteen plays it too before far beyond the sun

Genius néoclassical awesome progressive epic metal
I recommend "Knight Of Sword" by Unlucky Morpheus, the main sung (and solo) melody sounds like this.

eheheheh good ears.. Paganini concerto before "far Beyond The Sun" live version...
@silverwolfmusic999 yes
i thought it was 4. and yngwie also uses it for his live FBTS intro.
