- Majestic was a Neoclassical Power Metal band from Malmö, Sweden. Founded by keyboardist Richard Andersson in 1997, this band released couple of albums ("Abstract Symphony" in 1999 and "Trinity Overture" in 2000) after which Andersson put it on hold and formed Time Requiem. Later members of the last line-up founded the Power Metal band Reptilian. This song is from the first album.

Majestic was founded by me after i was asked to do something cool that shredded.
Since i had another project with Richard did i ask him to join.
My main band Nasty Idols was on hold and i had just finished a tour as opening act for Yngwie with my solo act Espinoza. This tune was actually the opening song and was written for my second solo album. But when asked to start a band and the record deal and everything was done if i started did this and other songs end up with Majestic instead of on a second solo album.. The reason i left was the reunion with Nasty Idols.
Anyway.... When i read all the comments and that people like my music does it touch me and i am humble...
Once again, thank you all and i hope you don´t mind that i write or corrects stuff..

this debut album shaped melodic metal/progressive metal for me.. It was amazing. I actually preferred the vocals of Jonas. this album still gets regular spins.

Would u be happy if there was a release with totally, updated and true Majestic songs? Who know what could happen or what is standing around the corner....
How ever, i know that my english are as bad as it was for for 20 years ago. I also know that after the accident that hurt my left hand really bad and i could not even touch a guitar in 5 years, and when i could pick up my guitar 2021 are my style so much better with both string skip and precise picking.
So i have been working since 2021 with songs for a full album, even more than that.

When i see my projects uploaded by someone that like the stuff it warms my heart.
I must however correct some small things.
The project Majestic was founded by me, .
I was asked to start something like this. Since my main band Nasty Idols was sleeping and i finished one album and a headline , followed as opening act for Mr Yngwie i just said "yeah, as long as there is no touing for a while". There was god money upfront to..
Songs like "Golden sea, Silence, Stand alone" etc was done for my 2nd solo album, ESPINOZA. But i took them to this project instead. It was named LAB RAT before Majestic.
But since i have done nearly 1000 shows, i was tired of touring. When the company told me that a tour was planned and no paid shows i did quit. However, the label that released this first album are about to release my new upcoming album with my new project: E9.
P Espinoza vet du om Richard anderson har lagt klaviaturen på hyllan? var han lite som yngwe när det gäller samarbete? tycker er musik är minst lika bra som dt, men konstigt att vissa projekt lyfter o andra inte etc på samma vis.

Hi, Peter! I would like to listen to the bonus track "Abstract Symphony" of the homonimous album. It's nowhere to be found. I bought the CD back in 2000, broke it, then I bought it again but IT DIDN'T HAVE THE TRACK! This is really good stuff! Greetings from Chile.

Hi everybody... I don´t want to be a pain... But i must do a minor correction about Majestic. Rickard is one hell of a keybord player and a great friend... However, it was actually me that started Majestic. The thing is that after i had been touring as headline after my release of my soloalbum and there after as opening act for Yngwie did i take some time off... The boss at Roasting house in Sweden called me and asked me if i wanted to record a new album. It was way back when music actually was a job and you got paid. :-)
They did work with Masssacre rec and i did get a great deal IF i did put a band toghter and released a new album.. I had been playing with Rickard before and knew him and since i was asked to do a shredder album (as they called) it did i ask Rickard. I hade some songs ready to be recorded. This was my opening song when i was opening for Yngwie in 1994 for example.. I must add that i don´t want to brag or take somebody elses honor but since Something did go wrong and the info says that Rickard started this up do i feel that i want to tell the real history about Majestic. The reason i left was because issues. I have also been touring since 1989 and did feel that i didn´t want to waste tine on such b*llshit. After i left did Massacre let Majestic go and Rickard started Requiem that is a great band...

I'm gonna go back in time and convince Richard Andersson to continue it so we have 6 albums by this point. Love these albums.

The "ABSTRACT SYMPHONY" instrumental bonus track is nowhere to be found on the internet.
...I'm the daughter of that woman, that is. God, all I wanted to do was to write a normal little comment and soon everything escalated to explanation after explanation from my side. I think I'm getting old and insane at the mere age of 22.

The reason to that is this...
I did quit after Abstract symphony because of that internal shit that happend when some cant handle even the smallest success. It was to much bullshit and go behind everyones back and so on. When second album was released did both reviews and sold copies go down and the thing with sneaking behind evybodys back got worse.
To save the logo and name did the label inform that since i had quit and the sound was gone, they had to change name. At the same time did the owner (or so called owner) think that if the music no longer was on spotify, was this a good revnge...
But, hey if u guys still like Majestic, the real Majestic, can i tell you taht the songs from Abstract symphony will be able on Spotify and likewise. And i can tell so much that 2024 will be a exiting year.. ;-)
Was this keyboardist one of the guys that Jens Johannson from Stratovarius gave his lead patch to?
I'm trying to get that sound but I'm a total keyboard noob and have a budget more oriented towards soft-synths.

Did you ever hear the remade version of it with Goran Edman on Vocals? So much better, definitely check it out.
Well, i have my own feeling about that version. I don´t want to complain on any ones taste.
But in my mind do i wonder why they didn´t even try to do something that could sound better than that. But maybe it got better the longer u listened to the song. I had to turn it off like after one minute of listening. Well, i am really happy that my name not was mentioned in that cover of Golden sea.

Tja jag lyssnade mycket på Richard Anderssons musik projekt förut. Fått intrycket av att det är lagd på is en del nu. Lite synd på sätt å vis, Yngwie Malmsteen var ju på g ett tag i nått projekt men men... Håller du på med musik fortfarande?

Andersson musik tappade helt tråden till vad Majestic är och står för. Detta är min egen åsikt och inget illa menat såklart. Tråden tappades redan på andra plattan. Isen som Majestic var lagd på var tjock som fan. Men nu... i den gkobala uppvärmingen så smälter ju allt! Vem vet vad som väntar runt hörnet.
Och yepp, jag lirar fortfarande. Nasty idols (där jag lirade gura mellan 1990-2013) hade ett uppehåll. Då passade jag på att skapa Majestic. När vi i Nasty idols började om igen med en preimär på SRF 2006 så örde vi på till 2013. Sångaren avled sorgligt nog efter sista plattan "Nasty Idols - KALIFORNIA", och då lade vi ner. Jag skulle fortsätta med annt men råkade ut för en allvarlig handskada och först 2021 kunde jag lira igen. Nu är det full fart och under detta året tror jag att många kommer både bli glada och väldigt överraskade. Utan säga för mycket kan jag i alla fall säga att under 2024 kommer det 3 singlar + 1 album. Även grejor som headline turneer och tillsammans med 2 av Skandinaviens största Powermetal band är i planeringen och då är vi det största....
