ms donna I had my hip surgery now 14 years cause of a birth defect but I was like u all I didn't was give to the Lord and gave it all and I had a great success just believe he will give to u

Great episode that hit close to home. Struggling with surrender has been a challenge for me and this is just the message I needed today.

Thanks guys, i have something to share that may help Al in his question. I grew up also in the bowels of religion and "church attendance/club" there was always a strong message to "let Jesus into your heart" which i did around 12 as Al did. However, i lived like a child of hell until i was in my 20s and i was realsing that most of what i was taught was unbiblical and bound me to something that was not producing fruit. During some alone time with the holy spirit, i was reading Romans. When i got to 12:1 my eyes were opened to one major flaw in my thinking. It says to give your bodies, which is all of us, to be living sacrafices. In my own studies no where have i read to "let jesus in your heart". Therefore i reasoned that it was time to Give Jesus my entire body and my entire life, not just some room in my heart. When i understood this there was another realization that came to life. If my entire body, life, etc is His, then each minute of each day is His, not just. A few hours on a sunday or wednesday. I really believe the ways(unbiblical i believe from my own studies) we are practicing christianity and traditions we are passing on are the BIGGEST hendrence to someone with a question like Al has. This is becuase our traditions create seperations. Seperations of our life and time from "religious time" spent "in the church", seperation of this entire existance being Gods house rather than a building, and seperation of people that work in the ministry(are called to ministry) and people that just partake in it. We find in Acts none of these things, and they are keeping us from living lives that truly follow Jesus. Rather than "letting jesus into the things in "Our" lives" , as i believe Al that asked stated. We should understand that in Jesus there is no more "our lives", there is no days or times or buildings that God is confined to. We dont "go to church" we ARE the church, living stones in the new temple. So we must as the guys say wake everyday and say "what do you have in store for me today". We should be looking for God to move in the routines of life, at work, at a coffee shop, walking down the street. That is the example Jesus lived, he had no seperation of these things, which our traditions have caused us to accept as normal. Love yall, keep up the good work. 3 per week, woohoo.

When I moved from Ky 4 years ago to Tn I haven’t found “home” church but your podcast has became a “fellowship study” that I have needed. Hello Al. I am from Lancaster County PA, and drove down to Bel Air, MD Sunday 8th for the second service after you said on a recent podcast that you were going to preach there . Loved the stories and the message especially the story of your father and mother walking out to you when you came home at 17 or 18....no questions...just grace. A beautiful picture. Thank you all for the increasing investment you are making in this podcast.

Planning a trip to attend the church in West Monroe and the church in Monroe. My prayers have been answered regarding two of my sons who were addicted to drugs for 10-15 years. God’s divine intervention has set them straight and I want to bring them down to be baptized. It’s a beautiful story of deliverance. A mother’s prayer, two deliverances at around the same time with complete different scenarios. I can see God’s hand in both of these miracles. When I sincerely in (desperation) but full of faith said to my Heavenly Father “ I need my children delivered “ I feel like I heard Father God say in my spirit “ now you know how I feel”. It changed my life. Phil, watching your lifestyle has reset my perspective on Faith, family and friends. Last year, I was planning on coming down to West Monroe to get prayer for my sons but now I am bringing my sons who are 36 and 38 so I am one happy mother.
Thank you Robertson family for taking the time out of your day to teach us the good news in computer land.

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Powerful episode . I struggled so long growing up in leagalism . I always thought what is the point of Christs death if i mess up one time im going to hell. No one is perfect. I have finally realized through your podcast we are under spirit not law . Galatians is such a powerful book. Ive learned more in last year on this podcast then i have 30 years in the Church. Man ive missed out.
