Adding the chili would ruin this dish? Spicy food is good. But this is not an Indonesian or Thai dish. It seem like the chili were only added to make the dish more complex. The fish sauce was also just an attempt to make it more exotic. Lastly, adding the chicharon was trying to make it more interesting. But unlike the chili the chicharon wont alter the taste or flavor. Some can use dried shrimp or shrimp. A more exotic vegetable option is thst leafy violet vegetable. Its a very good video. But the chili seem so out of place.. Still nice to see the video.
