- The plan was to get an INSANE amount of flea market rep but apparently, the extra rep was just a bug so I only got the normal amount since it took me so long to save up 196 wires that they patched it. Anyways thanks kovalev for being a good sport :)

Wait explain what happened?
Since wires get sold and bought really quickly, a lot of people will just hit buy on the lowest price offers without looking. The person in the video listed a huge bundle of an insane amount of wires, which, since it was technically cheaper per wire, ended up being the cheapest offer, and thus a poor soul accidentally ended up buying like 10x more wires than they'd ever need.

You can sell things on the flea market as a bundle like 8 wires for 80k and people wont be able to buy 1-8 but only 8 if they want to buy your offer.

I used to steal peoples test drive reaper m1as a few years ago. I would put up razor or sordin headphones as a barter for a m1a. Eventually someone will click too fast and since the test drive m1a is found In raid and people horde it I get a bunch. Always funny imo

You could’ve put up that whole stack on the flea for individual sale at 12,000 and they’d sell out real quick. Most people by wires in stacks to avoid having to click 20 times and go through 2 “are you a bot” puzzles

The whole point was to scam/troll a Timmy into buying a stash full of wires. When people are buying hideout or crafting items they just click the cheapest one and buy without looking.

Back when barters were still allowed on the flea market, you were able to put up a pack of 7 morphines for a dorms marked key and it would show up as the cheapest option per morphine since the game listed the marked key at ~70k rub and morphines float around 12-17k. Taking advantage of the fact that it's a quick sell item, this scam worked like a charm. Then BSG removed barters from the flea :(
well honestly that wipe sucked for flea because that was the only reliable way to get cool keys like dorms marked because everyoen wanted a violet for it
Flea barters were fucking terrible. Tasks were legit locked and if you didnt find the key you basically couldn't do your tasks. Every fucking task key locked behind either a marked room or a colored key card. Its still hella expensive but at least now its obtainable
I agree that shit was terrible I hated that you couldn't spend your money to buy rare keys and had to find something with crazy high value to start bartering

@@PaccpEFT the last wipe with barters was my first ever wipe. The only thing i remember from then was being locked from completing the tasks until my friends/me found the key.
Me and my friends used barters only to trade with each other lmao. I said i needed a xeno, my friend said he needs x light bulbs and since we both got what other needed it was a fair trading game. Wish it could come back in that form but not aviable for shit like keys.

IDK if they fixed it or not, but I was able to sell an empty metal fuel can for the same amount as a full one. People dont check the condition of the item either.
oh yeah thats not really something that needs a fix you can sell empty fuel as long as you found the fuel in raid and didnt buy it

6 months late but I'm 99% sure you pay a much higher tax, because the actual value of the item is much lower when empty. It's not pure money.

did this get patched in the latest wipe? bc as far as i know ( im new to tarkov since this wipe) u can now select if u want to buy all of the stack or just a specific number. if u just spam purchase button u end up buying one at a time
it wasn't a deal of 196 it was a Bundle. The whole purpose of bundles is to sell all of (whatever number) at once. 99% of people just sell their stuff normal so if they are selling 50 you can buy 1 but with bundles The seller is basically saying you can only buy it if you buy all of it

that was my first wipe trying out tarkov when there was no found in raid but I never really knew any maps or anything until the wipe after so I didn't get to experience it

Weak, at one time when there were no restrictions at a flea market I saw a man who sold more than 50 thousand 995
(max stash) 680 slots times 60 (in a stack) is 40,800. Unless during that time 995 stacked over 60 what you're saying is impossible. In one order that is he could have done it in 2 separate orders. Even then he probably didnt have it as a package deal because nobody has 400+ slots of space open and enough money for that.

@@PaccpEFT and even earlier they advertised their Twitch channel using a similar method, he was not the only one, in the same way they sold other items with a fairly low price and at the same time without the physical opportunity to buy this stack of items, so the offer hung in the “top” for quite a long time
so it was some kind of exploit? i've seen similar where someone sold 420 bleach in a pack but there is no way to do that so I assumed the exploit was through some kind of cheat engine and it sounds like what you're talking about is the same@@user-qc6qe9pc5l

so basically people sort the flea market by cheapest price which is usually about 10-15k per wire. Often times when you go to buy it there are SOOO many people buying it you press the one you want and confirm the purchase and it tells you "the item has already been sold" so you have to keep refreshing. Happens every wipe so a lot of people will just click the cheapest one as QUICK as they can and confirm purchase as QUICK as they can as well. Since mine were technically 9.5k per wire they were the cheapest PER wire and some level 20 player who was going fast trying to buy 1 of the cheapest wires accidentaly bought my 196 wires for 2 mil

I did get a lot but not exponentially more than normal, like the glitch used to be. For about a week or maybe 2, everytime you did a bundle sale on the flea market it would give you the rep of the whole bundle cost but multiply it by how many items were in that bundle so for my instance I would have gotten the equivalent of 196 TIMES 2 million roubles worth of flea rep.

a bit?? nah bro this is very unhinged. Idk if you new about it but for a while there was a glitch with flea market rep and bundles where you would get exponentially more rep the more items you sold in a bundle. Thats what originally made me do this. If the glitch still worked by the time I sold the wires I would've gotten over 1k flea rep which is an insane amount. Basically the glitch was every item in the bundle counted as the price of the whole bundle for rep, so each wire out of 196 would've counted for 1.8 million sold to flea so like 400 million roubles worth of flea rep.

he wanted to buy 1 wire and instead bought 196. Put him back 2 mil and all he gets was an extra 195 wires he has nothing to do with maybe he could use 100 AT MOST but a level 20 has 0 use for 196 wires so if he was smart he just sold them to therapist and accepted losing 1 mil instead of losing all that stash space and all that money.
@PaccpEFT I can tell you're a novice at the flea market, a smart person would craft all those wires into corrugated hoses at level 20. Perhaps he is a hideout meta player like me and will soon be able to craft defibrillators with those wires.
Both corrugated hoses and defibrillator will have a positive net gain for the player if he buys the other crafting components at their wipe average price or below.
He will also need 50 of those wires for his hideout alone, the weapons rack and shooting range especially.
I could use those 200 wires in a casual week of crafting even now at level 50.
