King So's final tiebreaker set was one of the most wholesome sets I've seen in a while (musicality, execution, dynamics, foundation, etc.), and it covered all the bases so well. He's a smart tiebreaker.
It's great to see all these guys back to fighting form; this battle was dope as all hell. To see TheEnd and ZeroNine back was serious nostalgic~

The OUR System isn't like a magic crystal ball which will pick the absolute winner. It's only a tool used to provide transparency, feedback and to know if the judges were doing a good job or not. If there was no system, and the same results occured, all we can do is blame the judges without knowing who was at fault. Now that theres a system to make judges accountable, people blame the system instead. That's like blaming a calculator when the person inputted the wrong equation

Bboys get scores based on elements. The music note is foundation, the pallet is originality, the volt sign is dynamics, the bullseye is execution and the chess piece is battle tactics. The scoring goes from 1 (really bad) to 5 (perfect). The 2 big numbers means which crew has won how many elements for each round. All the scores get added up and the one crew with the most points wins the battle.
Both crews' crew sets were dope.

I'm impressed. Gamblerz have really stepped up their style in the past couple years. I haven't liked them that much because all they did before was power after power...etc. hella props to them

They did give it to them. If you look on the scoreboard on the top of the video it's 2-2, however, Gamblerz still won total score. I assume what you're talking about was a type in the video.

It looks more and more like this system doesn't get rid of bad decisions, it just makes them more noticeable...

the OUR system is the best thing that has happened to competitions. sure there might be a few bad calls by judges but it is not the systems fault. if there was no system then the judges could just decide who won. the system allows the bboys to be judged on their dancing and not the judges preference. if you have a better system im sure everyone would love to hear it, and dont say we should go back to the old judging system because that just allows the judges to pick who they are friends with.
I would really hope to see Free give a talk on originality.

can someone please explain this new scoring system to me.. it's kinda hard to understand it .. i can see the scoring by the judges but i don't understand how it goes.. the two big numbers at the top of the round box confuse me!
I am not understanding this it says 21-20 for battle tactics yet they did not give that to L4O? Is there some rule about it not counting in tie breakers? I'm really confused someone please explain.

I disagreed with quite some of the scores.. mostly with Lil John and Free, I mean Rocket should've scored 5 on originality. The stuff he comes up with is just beautiful..
I know foundation is not only basic moves (don't forget storm has some dope power moves), foundation is the 4 elements,musicality etc.. I said storm should be judging foundation cause he knows a lot about this.
