Working on 2 songs at once ain’t nothing to Jay. The man has already shown he can hold damn near several albums worth of verses in his head at any given time. Just Blaze even said they recorded Public Service Announcement literally while Jay was doing a press run for the album which was already done. He was recording pieces at a time in the middle of doing press, coming up with lyrics while at the same time doing listening sessions for The Black Album. Kanye made Otis in the room while Jay watched the NBA Finals. Ye didn’t even think Jay was paying attention, but Jay was already putting a verse together at the same time Kanye was chopping up the record, and watching the game 😂
Mike!!! I love your energy and have always agreed with you on hip hop! I work in custom car audio and know the culture... I'm fucking stoked right now, you know why, I just picked up Ghostface Killah's new album and you are the first voice I heard.... just like GFK was the first emcee to go in on 36 chambers bro!!
Hell yeah. I love working with my rappers th same way. I make beats all th time and of course I've got a ton at th studio ready to go. But all of my favorite tracks have always been custom production or beats produced with th rappers vibing with me in my studio so that we can both put in ideas and craft th song from scratch together. Either way of making music works. Do you. Do what works better for you. But I try to approach hip hop and rap just like working with a full band. Having multiple people putting in ideas and lyrics. Formatting th beat layout together and how th song should flow. Always seems to sound better when you have a couple people putting it down together.
I’ve copped jay & primo joints since day one.... for years I’ve considered Reasonable Doubt Jay,s finest work, but for a while I’ve also thought his sophomore joint In my lifetime vol 1 could be the top hova album
Premo is a genius.👏🏽
crazy how premo is not from nyc and his sound is classic nyc
Black doesn't have a location. . . Planet Earth, Mars, Saturn it's in the skin and soul.
Primo is hip hop
And guru was Massachusetts
He grew up in brooklyn but born in texas . He is N.Y
Pac wasn’t born in LA either. Preemo repped Brooklyn regardless
Rhyme no more was just sick. The beat change was STUPID.. Premier is THE GREATEST!
Facts #SALUTE
For real!! Everybody Says A Million and One Questions is better. But I give it to Rhyme No More. The beat and flow combined. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Premo could make a Vanilla Ice joint fire.

Jay Z is my favorite rapper. This song and “can I live ?are my two top songs.
Can I Live is the greatest hip hop song EVER!

RED HANDED IS A BEAST
I like the other version better
Jay-z work ethics are scary... Imagine dismissing Ja Rule at his peak. 😳
👉👈 town 🏁
Wow Jayz spit his verse over the phone before coming to the studio yet people are still dumb to say he comes to the studio and freestyle
Prem was mixed up. Jay probably brought short in for road to the riches off vol 1
Thumbs down....really?
I think premo mixed up week ago with real niggaz. A week ago was on Vol 2, not Vol 1
Whats that beat at 1 40??
Greek Cardio A Million and One Questions - 98 Remix
Hov cutting two records at once
How he didn’t know that sample???
I've heard this song for years and I didn't know that was Aaliyah either. Seems obvious now. Duh
