This was when Jay used to inspire me in my early thirties with his lyrics to work diligently on my civilian job (with a dope boy mind) to push through negative emotions like Tupac inspired me in my twenties to be bold and fearless even though my money and self esteem was low. My special relationship with this album aside, this is the greatest album of all time. Endless bars and quotables. Beats are immaculate. Sublime lyrics. Delivery out of this world. If there's such a thing as a perfect record, Reasonable Doubt is it.
