How to Make a Grasshopper

Tomorrow is Christmas! So in honor of that, we'll be going over one of my favorite, simple winter cocktails to make: The Grasshopper!
1 oz (30 ml) White Crème de Cacao
1 oz (30 ml) Green Crème de Menthe
1 oz (30 ml) Heavy Cream
1 oz (30 ml) Vodka
Garnish: Mint Sprig
Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake 10-15 seconds and strain into Coupe glass.
Garnish with Mint Sprig.

I also don't like cocktails without any base spirit, good call there with the modification. I never use any fancy creams, just basic coffee creamer or half & half. There's also so many flavored creamers these days like peppermint you could substitute in, as well as peppermint flavored vodka too.

Thanks! Yeah low-proof cocktails just don’t do it enough for me (but they do have their place!). And something about that heavy cream specifically has that high fat content that makes it the “creamiest”, so that’s why I opt for that myself, but half & half and regular creamers definitely work as well! I usually pass on flavored liquors, but they ARE useful to have in situations like these!
