    This is the 1st Huat keuh receipt I ever success. Tried to made huat keuh before, but always failed. So happy to found this video and it taste very nice. I used coconut sugar to replace the brown sugar.

    My fatt kou pandan flavour turn out so well. Rise and break nicely on top!
    I used self raising flour and baking soda as advice. 👍👍👍

    Thanks for this recipe that did not require Eno. Out of 4 cups, 1 didn't rise but it is cooked.

    I tried it using self raising flour and i added 1 tsp baking powder only...It works😀 well! I follow every steps...Thank you for the recipe. New subscriber here😀

      Hi, you steam on high heat 20 to 22 minutes.

    I follow exactly but the cake never rise up. I try twice still the same never rise at all.

      Hi Katherine, i am sorry to hear that. You may want to check your baking powder. It could be its no good anymore.

      Hello, This is one of the most basic steam cake. I cant understand why you cant make it. If you follow the steps correctly, it should work.

      I have tried your recipe twice but it won't raise like yours in the video. i used plain flour and baking powder for this recipe.

      I followed your recipe for the steam huat kuih, but it didn't bloom as wide as yours. My baking powder is sizzling well then I add into the flour mixture. Pls advice. Thanks.

      Hi, I follow your recipe twice but it doesn’t bloom well like yours . It’s dense inside & the edges looks like it’s not rising at all . Pls advise what is my mistakes. Thanks
