  • In the beginning of Miami Beach's development, Jews were not welcome in most establishments and Jewish residents could only own property south of Fifth Street. Real estate covenants restricted many non-Jewish home buyers from ever selling their property to Jews or Blacks. In the aftermath of World War II, cultural shifts and an emerging middle-class redefined Miami Beach from an elite winter resort catering to the wealthy to a tropical playground open to middle-class vacationers - Jews and Gentiles alike. The Jewish influence is now reflected in all aspects of Miami Beach life.

So crazy how it’s hard even just finding a historical and educating video. I look up Jews and Miami because I’m interested and can’t find anything without politics because I live in today’s time. Censorship is crazy.
