The History of Jews on Miami Beach

In the beginning of Miami Beach's development, Jews were not welcome in most establishments and Jewish residents could only own property south of Fifth Street. Real estate covenants restricted many non-Jewish home buyers from ever selling their property to Jews or Blacks. In the aftermath of World War II, cultural shifts and an emerging middle-class redefined Miami Beach from an elite winter resort catering to the wealthy to a tropical playground open to middle-class vacationers - Jews and Gentiles alike. The Jewish influence is now reflected in all aspects of Miami Beach life.

So crazy how it’s hard even just finding a historical and educating video. I look up Jews and Miami because I’m interested and can’t find anything without politics because I live in today’s time. Censorship is crazy.
