Literally the only issue I had with this figure was the head sculpt because it's actually sculpted to look like Cryotek not Megatron which makes me think that Hasbro already has a more cartoon accurate head sculpt and just assembled Megatron using the wrong head mold revealing a future repaint for the figure.
The head alone makes it a must-have.
...Now watch as when we get a Cryotek outta this he gets a cartoon accurate head.
... Then watch the hilarity of DNA making a kit using the toy head! 😂
To solve the loose face issue, just glue the orange piece with the eyes in place inside the head. It means you're not going back to stock configuration, but it makes everything much more solid. Also, you got the backpack right, the hinge is just there so it hugs the body more tightly.
When installing mine, I knew I wouldn’t use the wig, so I kept the orange visor and it holds everything in place better. I also flip the chest piece around and tuck into the back because from a front-on perspective, I’d rather see the hints of gold rather than the hollow plastic in the silhouette. But honestly, I’d have gotten the kit for the new face sculpts alone, yesss
DNA kits are awesome. This one is no exception. He looks fantastic!
I hope they do one for Tarantulas because the junky accessories he came with were unacceptable.
@@realjoemavro I want them to make one for Bludgeon because it NEEDS something to make it more accurate to Bludgeon's design in the 2019 IDW comic continuity.

Essential kit for sure.
I like the extra faces, but I don't think the asking price is worth it just for those. I'm okay with the rest of the figure tbh. It's a solid set in stock configuration.

The dragon chestpiece here was in no way worth the disassembly for it, but it does tuck closer to the back. The head options are worth the struggle, however. The tail extension and the pointer finger/wrist swivel are also great.
That chest was a pain to install for sure.

Lol! Oh the Wig of Judgement... I forgot about that goofiness. I think that the hinged chest/back piece just kinda makes the kibble lie a little flatter like you showed in the video.... I don't know. Kind of a strange addition.

What screwdriver did you use for the smaller screws
I had real trouble with installing the new chest piece. Not on DNA Designs part but more on Hasbro. Literally, the screw head that holds the old chest piece wore the hell out and was a pain to fully remove (I was halfway done unscrewing it when it happened). I had to use a wrench and unscrew then pull the rest of it out. Now the chest piece comes loose a bit when transforming but there is no way to find an alternate screw is there?
Mine did the same, I stripped the screwhead. It's REALLY in there tight so you have to work on it, and these tiny phillips screws are prone to mangling. I ended up using the screw I took out of the original chest gem/chest in its place and it seems to hold.
I kind of assumed that any kit would address the base of the neck in dragon mode - the gappiness, the gold clip doesn't connect hardly at all to anything - without a fix for this part of the figure, I wouldn't consider buying any upgrade kit. But good review though!
Just found T2 Megs today for half price so I picked him up.
Now I need to find a tail upgrade....this is way to expensive and I just want a better tail since he'll most likely be staying in Dragon mode most of the time.
I feel he could use bigger and more articulated wings. Other than that a great figure

I have a question, is it possible to install one of the new faces without having to replace the original orange forehead?
I believe so, the solid red is almost the same mold.

@@PatriotPrimeReviews really combined that with the fact that this thing came with a judge wig, but no gavel I’m gonna have the sink really hard on whether I want this or not.
This is a useless set. It didn’t fix and if the minor issues the figure has. The bottom of the dragon neck is the brightest problem aesthetically. And they also did nothing. To cover up the holes throughout.
The purpose of the new chest is for the robot mode. You folded it correctly, its suppose to make it more flushed with the body. Vs origial chest, it just hanged on the back. With the gap between it and the main body. i.imgur.com/aFA7DLe.png
I thought that was how it worked.
