But a year later, you sense that they're losing direction and the car is not good. So you move to a team who is good and you win the title. Does that make your achievement better? If P1 WDC is a high possibility, then ofcourse you're expected to help out even if you don't want to. Only the WCC brings employee bonuses to the team, so WDC is just an honour for the drivers and some moral boost for the team. Nothing more, nothing less. Well, lot of merch sale boost to add. So even though I understand the reason why Charles is upset, and we don't know what that pre-race discussion agreements were, there was Ferrari screwup before the overtake and the whole miscommunication from the pitwall that kind of cancels out the 'situation scenario' to apply prediscussions.

Carlos outqualified Charles in the first place and it was Ferrari who screwed up the pitstop, which created the whole underrcut situation
