So glad you posted this. We celebrated our anniversary at the Rio several years ago. And my host gave us an upgrade to this suite. It was a wonderful trip. Rio was our home in Vegas. So sorry to hear it is in disarray. 😟
When I was there, Rio was definitely in a transitional phase. Casino was really dark, most of the little shops were closed, and my room needed some work. Hopefully with the rumored remodel, Rio will be back and as fun as we remember :)
@@theswagdotnet a butler came with this suite. You ordered room service through him and he used the second door that led to the hall as his entrance with the food. He would then serve you in the dining area.
Did it seem like this room was newly renovated? It looks really nice. Just wondering if they have started the hotel renovations with Hyatt taking over.
My room didn’t have any renovations or upgrades. It definitely needed some work. Although, for the size of the room and the price (about $700/night), I was willing to overlook the items that needed maintenance. I’d be happy to check it out again when the renovation is complete :)
So you just returned from there? I’m going august 9-13 staying at rio, what do u mean it’s really dark? It’s not lively at all? Are the restaurants and club, pool open? I’m wondering if I should change hotels?!?! It’s comp room but I planned on spending a lot of time there. Please update me best you can! Yeah I think I would’ve been upset about some of the things not right in the room because even though 700$ is cheaper than other Vegas suites it’s still a lot of money. Other than that it is pretty grand!
My last time at Rio was October 2021. Lots of closed shops, like permanently closed, not closed because it wasn’t busy. Not a lot of people walking around or gambling, casino felt dark and uninviting. I didn’t go to the pool during my visit since it was a bit too cold in October. Not sure of its current status. I also didn’t venture up to Voodoo Lounge, can’t comment on that. Wish I had more recent and concrete info for you about Rio. Whatever you decide, hope you have a fun trip!
vegas local and the pool is definitely open right now. as for the casino, i was there about a week ago and it’s just like the rest! don’t worry there’s tons of people in there gambling and plenty of entertainment
I booked it through Rio’s website. Usually if it doesn’t show up for particular dates, then it’s sold out for those days. It doesn’t show up for me this weekend, but it does for August 16-18 (random days that I picked).
Rio definitely needs some work. Choosing a place to stay can vary by trip. A good use case for this room is a big group who don’t mind sleeping on the couch or floor, and want the cheapest largest room close to The Strip.
This suite is beautiful Brody
I will be there in dec to check out this room
Awesome! Hope you have an amazing time!
nice deep voice.

Wow, that’s impressive. 👍🍀⭐️ . Very nice tour.
Thanks! 😀
Nice room !!!

Hyatt is the reason its in the shape its in.
Approx sq footage of the room?
I believe it’s around 3,000sqft
How much does it cost per night?
Before taxes and resort fee it was about $750/night for me on a weekday.
same room also exists at Golden Nugget

How much was it?
$756 before tax and resort fee.
I don't see them on the main website. Where do you book one?

I want to be with you in Rio
Looks nice but still not worth it staying at Rio, the hotel is a dump.

How much is it?
I paid $756 for 1 night before tax and resort fee. Other times I’ve looked, that seems to be around the average cost.
