Unfortunate that a mare, who had lost her own foal couldn't be found to be Bunny's foster Mum. But, she looks to be doing great. Well done for your round the clock dedication. 🙏
aw poor baby... glad she was found in time. she'll be a lovely little pony for someone when she's grown. i hope she is treated with love and care, wherever she goes.
stunning little baby shape of her head reminds me of an arabian she's going to be gorgeous world horse welfare to the rescue again brilliant organization
What an adorable little girl she is!!! I am so glad that the field officer found her. She is such a sweet thing! She would have died without your help. Foals are absolutely sweet. I've met one, and Misty was a sweet one too. I'm glad that she has another chance at life. Thank you all for taking care of this precious baby!
I hope little Bunny filly gets a nice new home very soon. With people who will love her to death. Who would take care of her too. Because she is so cute.
She’s beautiful. I can’t believe she was just left on the road. What are you feeding her? I’m not a horse expert, but I’ve only seen foals this young out of a bottle. She’s so lucky
They mentioned Bunny was found on Moorland. In Wales there are wild Ponies that free roam on the Moors, she was probably from wild pony stock, thus not belonging to anyone.
Thanks for your comment, Bunny (Ilaria) is now available for rehoming), if you'd like to visit her page - www.worldhorsewelfare.org/rehome/profile/1861?
That baby will be a fabulous pony when she’s grown. I had to bottle raise an abandoned foal once…he was the best horse I ever owned. Protective, bomb-proof, sometimes playing a little rough because he didn’t know we weren’t horses.
Thank heavens the field officer found her, poor little love! Looks she's doing well with the love and care she's getting 🤗 While Ilaria is a beautiful name, Bunny seems a perfect fit especially with the shot of her bouncing around the field ❤
I watch Bondi Vet in Australia and one of the vets helped a colt by finding a female that had lost her colt. He took her urine and feces and put it on the colt. That way the colt smelled like her. Then he and the owners slowly introduced the colt to the mare. After a while she accepted him nursing on her and finally she accepted him and took care of him as her own. The vet did that because the colt had lost his mom. God bless.
I have heard it said 9f cats that they learn a lot from observing adults, preferably their mother, and if orphaned, it is best to raise them around another cat. It is a concept I thought is probably true of all animals, and this shows it is true of horses too - best to raise a young foal with another horse to learn herd manners from.
So cute! I hope we'll see updates. She has a very distinct head shape, and it'll be nice to see how she'll turn out! I wish her and all of you the best!
Hope for updates and glad she was found. Her mom could have followed the stallion being pushed away being young. As she grows, if something is off you will see. Surprise not bottle fed..hope she has at least 4 months before weaning to get those growth platelet happy. Thanks for sharing
There is a special place in heaven for all of the rescue operations around the world who give so much of themselves to save others, no matter what package they are born in. These people certainly make up for the evil people who walk among us. Having said that, this little filly obviously had a guardian angel looking after her until help arrived. Hopefully, Bunny will grow up to become someone's pride and joy.
I hope Bunny is still doing well and that she is growing into a wonderful little pony. To see how little that 'grown-up rug' on her, is adorable. Best wishes Bunny for a fantastic future ahead.

just a heartfelt t hank you to all the folks who rescue, and care for and rehabilitate all the various horses and ponies shown in all these videos you are fantastic human beings and restore my faith in humanity, big love to all of you and all those in your charge xxxx
It's hard to believe that someone could be missing such a baby ( an Arabian if her dished face, and overall configuration can be trusted) and not come looking for it.
Thank God for the feeling officer that found Bunny. And God bless all of you all for taking care of her/ him. You make such an amazing influence in the life of an animal that may not have ended up having a life. My blessings of Good Fortune and happiness to all of you.
They use that, it being widely available in the UK as well. I'm surprised they didn't just come out and say it when they said "making sure she got enough colostrum early on" because the only way to make sure is to give it to the foal themselves.
I lost 2 mare s one whilst foaling and one mare with a burst artery during foaling, l raised both , l milked the dead mare s and gave the 2 foals the colostrum , after that l used lambs milk power and gave them a bottle every 3 hours at first , after a few weeks l gave them milk pellets , they both thrived and grew to 16 .3 and 17 .1 hands , both well mannered and will be broken this year , both fillies ,
Send her to Uniek in the Netherlands. Fresian horse. Lost her 2nd foal in less than 2 yrs. She raised an orphan foal last year. Rising Star
That would be great, if Uniek is still lactating. She did great with Rising Star. This year’s second stillbirth was devastatingly sad.
That's a bit far for a baby, though uniek is a great mom.
Great Idea! The Queen would LOVE this baby, she’s a natural mom
I love following Uniek & Rising Star’s story. Beautiful horses as is this one. I’m sorry she has lost her foal 🙏🏻
What a brilliant idea Uniek took to rising star immediately and vice versa she was a wonderful mother to him.

Beautiful foal! Looks like an Arabian!
Bunny is a Welsh Section A Pony. They all have that head shape.
I love baby girl horses
Thank you for diligently feeding her milk substitute and making sure she is socialized with another horse. Best of happy futures for Bunny!

I'm suprised that she wasn't being bottle fed at first. So sweet ! Can't help wondering what happened to her mama.
OMG is she cute! Thank goodness she was found by someone who knew what to do!
What a cutie. So small. I hope she thrives.
There are Angels Among Us. You are truly Angels. God Bless You. Prayers she is okay. ❤

I'm so happy you found her and saved her, but my heart breaks for her mother, she must be frantic wondering where her baby is.

Bunny is adorable! Love her little hops!
It's the bucking Bunny show! What a sweet girl
My heart breaks for innocent creatures in suffering.
At the end, seeing her getting her bucks in was satisfying. She felt good enough to be playful.

Such a sweet little foal.
Thank goodness she was found, before she was too far gone.
She is beautiful!
What a pretty little filly! Thank you to all who care for her!
Beautiful baby . Thank you for caring for her and all the other animals too. Bless you all.
I'm surprised she drinks from a bucket, not a bottle. Smart girl.
Easier to wean a foal from a bucket than from a bottle. Bottle raised foals are the worst at weaning, lol.
@@labella9291 exactly!
Seeing her do her crazy kicks made me know she'll be fine
Thank you rescuing and caring for Bunny.
Poor baby, it breaks my heart. Thank you for taking care of her💛💕

Beautiful foal!
I found a dying newborn foal on Dartmoor once. It was heartbreaking, but nothing could be done. It was too late. 😭😭😭😭😭
She’s a beautiful baby girl, and I can’t believe she was lost on the road at a day old. I wish I was there to take her.
Such a sweet and beautiful baby horse, I love him ❤️❤️
She is so cute. I like her swoosh on her face.

Oh the poorlittle sweetheart! Mom didn't want her. So sad. Happy you are there for her. She certainly would have died.
Maiden mares can be terrified of their foals after birth. This is what may have happened.
They said that they didn’t know why Bunny was alone.
No one knows what happened. Bunny's mom may have died while foaling.
Beautiful!
What a pretty little foal ❤

In europe they sell freezen colostrummilk for cases like that. Maybe you can find that also there in vetclinics and horsehospitals. 💞
They use that, it being widely available in the UK as well. I'm surprised they didn't just come out and say it when they said "making sure she got enough colostrum early on" because the only way to make sure is to give it to the foal themselves.
Angels of bunny!
We just have an abandoned foal. Her mom died the next day. She was able to get her mom's colostrum which is good. We're looking 4 a nurse mare 4 her.
