Thank you for the video. It’s frustrating because I called multiple charter companies that said they were not scheduling trips until the regulations were posted on the fish and wildlife website. I’ll definitely be going out this weekend if the weathers decent 😊
I hear a lot of dudes bitchn and moaning about the dfg. But I've seen enough idiots, even on sportsboats, harvesting fish illegally to know we need even more officers on duty. I've been stopped on my own boat a few times over the years, and it only takes a couple minutes. Small price to pay for protecting our fisheries.
I am always glad to see them. Shows some of our money for license going to a good cause.

@@paimon8734 no we are old enough to follow the rules without govt. Search no probable cause. Sadly todays fishermen keep anything for stew.

Cool or not, they should not be allowed to "inspect" a boat without probable cause. It's the equivalent of randomly pulling drivers over and searching their vehicles without cause - which is a violation of the 4th amendment.
Dfw should not be allowed to search without probable cause. 4th amendment violation..
In California they search your ice chest for alcohol at certain state parks. I don't drink and I don't like being disturbed.
Please go and inspect the 1/2 day boats out of Seaforth. A little enforcement on sending rockfish back down at the nine mile bank would be nice instead of letting them litter the surface with short rockfish one after another like a chum line. Ridiculous, you would think the sporties would appreciate their resource/bread and butter a little more.. if they have a decending device, they need to learn how to use it.

They did not check anyone's fishing license on the boat. Only captains log and the fish we all caught.

Seems weird to board a party boat at sea when you could just check them at the dock. I only watched the first 10 seconds cause if I paid that much to fish someone’s boat I’d want as much fishing time as possible.
It's disgusting to see that many people on one boat. I hope everyone follows the regulations.
