- Over the last 24 hours all of our primary forecast models have shown some very interesting trends to include not one but double cyclone troubles for the south and eastern United States. There are also some long-range symptoms eluding to a return of our arctic jet and zero degree temps up North
Another amazing update! Appreciated. I love learning about weather. 😊
Thanks so much!

@@kevenmcginn5406hey! 👋
Very interesting update(s) on Winter Systems. Thank you much!
Very welcome! Getting active on the near horizon again
So appreciate your report. Just found your channel. Lots of analysis re weather on YT but feel ill save time cueing in to you. (Particularly keying in on Charlotte N.C. as I fly thru there from Springfield MO on the evening of 2/19)
Thnx!!
Thanks for taking the time to tune in! Try to carefully analyze and discuss everything I’m seeing as I take you all thru these videos. Always nice to have someone new joining the WxCenter! We’ll be keeping you updated
@@WxCenterNazario just want to ask someone who seems very informed. Where is tornado research with halting/steering these monsters? With advances in science and technology is there any way target a supercell funnel when first detected? Hear so much about advanced in directed energy weaponry, weather control. Perhaps these are just rumors however would be awesome to somehow reduce their fuel when they first start serious cycling. (Implode them?) Idk know but sure some very smart people have researched this.
@@ICNMatsiko this is an excellent question, and I’m sure there are measures out there that could more or less stop the suction vortice of a tornado from really coming together. But as far as I’m aware nothing has truly been explored. It would likely cause more havoc at ground level for folks than do anything to deter a storm of such magnitude
@@WxCenterNazario Tynx! yes, I thought it may have unintended side effects which would need to be minimized as much as possible yet might the trade offs be worth it... sure there must be research into it.
No more snow! Day 3 of our big dig out!
I'm from Buffalo; I actually miss the snow!😊
Going to be cutting it very close! The models keep going very back and forth with the trajectories of these storms
I hope that the model for the 18th stays the same for my area (PG county, MD) that looks like a repeat of 2010 or 2016 (maybe not as intense). I know it's way too far out to be sure, but that doesn't stop me from wishing.
Unfortunately we’ll need to watch each model run feverishly. I believe we’re going to have lots of moving back and forth with both of these winter systems.
A very heavy rainstorm for the Jersey Shore is very likely for early next week.
I believe so as well. Models are struggling big time with the track of our systems, and that’s going to put a hamper on who gets the wintry side
Some people are saying that a severe weather system could hit Indiana Ohio Illinois and Kentucky is that true or false
It’s actually true, I’d noticed that on SPC earlier today. Little pseudo spring-time set up
Great where is winter at this point 😢 it has been so worm
@@danielbutler326 oh she’s waking up from a brief slumber lol
Ok I'm hoping for one more big snow storm here in Indiana
Probably not. It’s unlikely since this system is not a major system. Also, air is too stable and cool. Indiana and Ohio may get light snow. The Presidents Day system will be the big system. It repeats the pattern from early January (NW FL tornadoes) and mid November (Miami minicane). That one likely produce severe storms from Florida to North Carolina. Then shortly after that, another system. Second half of February looks busy.
do another 2024 hurricane season update
Oh we will, keeping them in my back pocket for when CPC releases another ENSO outlook/prediction
4.0 magnitude earthquake 100 miles off of Cape Canaveral😮
If that isn’t a signal this year is going to be wild… then I don’t know what is
@@WxCenterNazario o yes brother it's going to be will and I believe our hurricane season it's going to be a good old slobberknocker 😤
@@BrianFloridastrong we’ve got the latest ENSO guidance from climate prediction center to discuss live tonight
Woooo ok what time 8 right y.t ben craping the bed so 8 primetime.
