I bumped into your videos today and I loved all of your First Impressions! The best in-depth review without talking too much! Loved loved loved it!
this is my holy grail foundation i will never use anything else. i am oily. and i can be normal. i only recommend it for dry skin if used with a hydrating primer like the urban decay brightening and tightening. and if that isn't enough and you feel dry try chill setting spray. but in my professional makeup kit i have every shade!
I went to Macys today and I'm so excited because I had them match me and I got a sample of my color. Enough to last a week. I can't wait to try it. I have watched numerous reviews on the Urban Decay line and MAC but because the girls at MAC acted as if I was wasting their time because I did not want to just buy the Pro longwear foundation without testing it for a few days first, I went and looked around and decided on the Urban Decay because of reviews and bad customer service from MAC empoyees. I loved what I was told about the Urban Decay line. If I am going to pay money for high end foundation I am going to make sure it works for me.
Hey! Same happened to me, I went to MAC and they took forever to test me so I went to UD and they matched me perfectly, done my full face, and gave me a sample. It was beautiful and looked very natural, I went back to MAC the next day, and they matched me up as "NC 50" and I told the lady it was too dark, and she gave me NC45 and I told her to give me a sample and she had a really bad attitude. I went home and tried it on, it was heavy, smelly, thick, and made me so oily, not to mention ORANGE. Safe to say I won't be purchasing the Studio Fix Fluid or any MAC for some time.
Betty Jo me too. I hated it. It made me break out and I NEVER break out. It made my skin dry and feel gross at the sametime. I had to go to Sephora to get my sample of MAC pro long wear.

momroxx Same here! I woke up the day with a terrible whitehead on my nose and forehead. I never break out anymore! Lol MAC needs to step up their game

The directions say to shake it for 30 seconds before using. It makes it less liquidy and has a better overall performance

I would not recommend it for dry skin! Unless u have dry skin without dry patches. I have combination oily skin and i feel it becomes oily in my t zone but also clings to my dry patches! I do like the foundation for my "perfect" skin days because i feel it works best with just a thin layer. It is buildable to get more coverage but then I feel like the foundation colour doesn't match anymore and becomes darker... Don't know if that is just my weird skin or if anyone else got the same problem.... As for the colour selection there is a good variety BUT not all the whole numbers have a yellow undertone! I feel like all the paler shades have a weird peachy undertone! So overall not the worst foundation but definiatly not the best! At last for me;)

Lara larissa I have just got this foundation. I have dry skin with oily t zone. I actually put this on this morning without moisturiser or primer and it is now 5 hours later and it looks lovely. Really moisturing and has a lovely glow. Maybe it depends on ones skin care ? I usually moisturise and primer but was very late this morning so it really was put through a good test.
I was not a fan of this foundation, it's not good for dry skin at all, made me look powdery and flakey, gross. It went back to sephora after two uses. I head it works really well for oil skin dry skin should stay away.

I agree, ive had this foundation for a long time and I recently used it as a back up (and somehow came across this video again). I do have dry skin, even tho I put moisturizer on, I thought the foundation looked cakey and powdery on me as well. So far i'm loving covergirl outlast.
