Most American cars have a problem with the lights and LEDs in the front of the car. This new model of GMC is really ugly and crooked. They are more beautiful. General Motors cars have designed ugly lights and LEDs in these few years😢
This is what the pre refreshed escalade should’ve been when it first came out. This is GLS and X7 rivaling for sure and seeing what Lincoln has done for the new Navigator this imo already out did that. The backseats being identical to the front seats in terms of features and adjustments is a plus through and through.
No way this rivals a BMW or Mercedes. I can see the cheap finishes throughout the video. Examples being the cheap switch gears, low graphics infotainment & speedometer, cheaper plastic push buttons, no suede headliner. This vehicle is more high-end upscale Yukon.
Awesome review as always. For an expensive vehicle like a Denali, there should not be any piano black plastic anywhere! It’s a pain to keep clean, scratches easily and looks like crap on a daily basis [unless you’re that person that constantly wipes it down every time you get in 😮] great job guys!
I saw on another video review of this refreshed model that the captains chairs in the middle row of the Denali Ultimate are the exact same seats as those used in the front row.
I own a 2023 Yukon Denali Ultimate and while I love the 2025; I have a couple of critiques. This is just my opinion😊 First, while I get that this version was designed using customers’ input in mind; to me, the truck is “over branded.” The only issue I had with the one I got was that it should’ve had the “Ultimate” fender badges just like the Sierra Ultimates. It appears they fixed that, but given that it’s now on the fenders, the top of the navigation screen on both sides(I think), the front and second row seats(if you have the Executive package), it’s overdone. The badging on the sides of the navigation screen is a nice touch but unnecessary. It’s the same issue with the “Denali” badging now being on both front doors, all four wheels, and the rear. As for the wheels, the etched Denali is a nice touch as well, but I personally don’t like the style of the wheel. The beef up to 24” is nice though. I know there were complaints about the current wheels for the Ultimates(chrome and machined) but for me; that was one of the selling points. I hope they have those wheels as a 24” option. Would those things stop me from buying one? No, because it’s a beautiful vehicle overall and worth getting. I love my truck and will be sticking with it for a while. If I had the opportunity to buy a 2025 Yukon Denali Ultimate, I would. It would be hard to part ways with my current one but I would. Thanks!
Nice vehicle, but an interior question I hope you can answer. First the explanation, then the question: Around the 7:40 mark you show the covers of the charger and cupholders in the front center console area. The leather side rails on either side of the two covers in past models were higher, and level, so when I would move the console arm rest part back, I was able to rest my laptop directly across those side rails, even angle it for a better view from the drivers seat, making it a great little laptop workstation when parked. But now, it looks they not only lowered the height of those side rails, but left a slightly higher knob in the back end of them where the console armrest goes, but also increased the height of that little handle in the center of those covers, that now appears to actually be higher than the horizontal plane of the side rails. Question: So now it looks like you can no long slide that center console armrest back and sit a laptop flat across those side rails, because that center piece of the covers appears to sit just a little higher than the side rails, and because the back end of the side rails has a knob section that now sits higher, so a laptop will now wobble, and will be even less stable if angled for better viewing. Is that the case? Is that center piece of the covers that acts like a small handle now higher than the horizontal plain of the side rails on either side? And if you are so inclined to test a larger laptop on it, does it in fact now wobble quite a bit, even more so when angled for better driver viewing? Thanks. This is huge for me because having that sliding console and that flat work surface that would fit my laptop nicely is the primary reason I have only been considering a GM full size suv, Chevy or GMC. If that is no longer the case, then I will open up my search to other vehicles, even a luxury F150 pickup because those actually have a real fold out flat work surface in their front center console. These GM suv's simply had a space that could be used as one, but now that even may no longer be the case. What a shame if my concern is true. A lost user benefit of real value. And on a side note, I have never once seen a youtube reviewer even comment on this use of the center console area in the past, so if you do reply with confirmed answers to these questions, you are likely to be the very first to do so.
@@MrGreenelightBut at this high-end trim - they should have them because it seems like penny-pinching not to. Heck most mid-trim SUVs from most makes have them as my 2020 Honda Pilot EXL does. It’s pennies to GMC item to have them on there.
@@MrGreenelight So does my Honda Pilot. The point for the shades is mainly when you have babies, toddlers and small kids int he back seat they are really helpful. It’s GM penny-pinching on an up-trim level and expensive SUV.
@@nathanielgathing659 I wouldn’t call it a “boos rig” - This is the top luxury-level Yukon. It’s all about comfort and features. A rear sunshade is not a “gimmick” - It’s useful especially for kids in the back seat. I think rear-seat sunshades started years ago on either Mercedes or Lexus and many top-level SUVs even have them for the third row. It’s GM cheaping out! And if you want a “RIG” then get a GMC 2500 or 3500 HD truck with a diesel engine!!
The only thning I dont like is that the vents on both sides of the touchscreeen isn't esthetically pleasing to my eye. I love the screen size, but its the air vents thats ugly to me making it look like its sitting on a mount between the vents instead of looking flush. The vents keep attracting my eye. Also how does the heat and cool over time affect the screen being so close?
Here are my thoughts on this update: *Its clear that GM has seriously upgraded all 3 of their Full-Sized SUV's, up to the point that they are better than the Waggoner models. *They have also improved the styling of all 3, which is important considering it was a weak point of this generation. *Its a real shame that the Duramax V8 is still unavailable for any of the three models. *Ditching the two lowest trim levels makes sense, especially when it reduces the overlap with the Tahoe/Suburban. *I do feel that GM should be offering a more powerful V8 Engine for the Yukon than the 420 bhp 6.2 V8. Perhaps even the Escalade-V Engine itself. *Offering the Executive Rear Package on the Denali is a very sensible move.
Why did they change the button shifters to the column shifter? Mechanical problems? And what’s going to happen to the 2020-2024 vehicles that have button shifters 8-10 years down the line, will mechanics know how to repair them?
It has gone to far with those large touchscreens where everything is controlled. In my opinion the new Chevrolet Tahoe High Country is a much better option, cheaper too
My only question is who is going to buy it at that price??? Dealerships can't sell tundras, tacomas, dodge trucks, jeep wangoneers... and tons of other overpriced vehicles? So who's gonna spend money on these especially after the dealerships put their nice little mark up on them..... I'm guessing about 20k extra on top
What I hate the most is the cheap tires they put on with hardly any grip on the tire tread and most likely that would be a cheap 4 or 6 ply tires that most likely will blow out or flat tires on the side of the road.!!!! With that expensive SUV you would think the dealer or factory would put some 10 or 12 ply tires to protect the extra safety measures for the customers. Specially when you have many passengers are on board riding with children perhaps.🤔 I also don’t like cheap ways to put something on top of the center screen Council. When the older SUV has a four digit locked in secret compartment, and no one can get into it unless you know the four digit combination.!!!!

They do fold flat, but you must first have the seats ahead of them not in the extreme back position in order to provide room for the second row to fold down.
I dont like the interior as much as the Chevy or Cadillac…..and i really like the new navigator. GMC was always my favorite. I think I really hate the dash……looks chunky with a tiny little screen surrounded by piano black Trim.
@@ZanderthelabBut this is where GMC and most American high-end vehicles lose out to makes like Mercedes that do offer so many color choices both exterior and interior.
WTH is that cheap looking tiny screen and then a vertical giant screen in the middle. Screams cheap. The new Tahoe dash belongs in the Yukon Denali. First time I’d say the Tahoe is higher quality looking inside.
I don’t like this car boo boo. It’s just big and that screen looks weird! I like those hidden drawers up front tho for when my boo Shyam does interstate business!!!! But no sunshades and no four zone climate control??? Best just get my phat donk a Benz boo boo!!!!!
Very nice truck but can anyone make a unique steering wheel anymore??? It's like everyone's just recycling the same fuckin designs over and over again.
I think for 2025 Chevy finally got rid of that awful steering wheel that feels like absolute cheap garbage in your hand and they had that thing for 16 years

GM really needs to invest in some rear sunshades considering all they make is family suvs and trucks.

How flat will the 2nd row power seats fold, near flat or nowhere near? If it's close, just a slight angle, it still might be fine.
