The only thing that’s gonna help Norfolk out is a riot or National Guard deployments with guarantees of looting. I’m not spending my hard earned (taxed & mind you garnished) twelve dollar an hour on a twenty nine dollar burger & a drink after I get off work at ten pm. I’m gonna skate all the way to Doumar’s for barbecue,so I don’t get in fights at the HRT transit center,then catch the bus from there. I’d drive there but the homeless people would probably reward my good parking (In Ghent) with vandalism of some sort. Downtown can be equally as enjoyable as it is dreadful. All too often it’s plain old miserable,dull. Need some gambling machines,three dollar drafts instead of twelve dollar microbrews. Big order of tacos or hot sausage instead of a short order of whatever.
