The Air Force already learned about AI.... they put AI in a UAV (simulated of course) and it went Skynet on them.
Nothing comical about being spun, stalled or extinct.
It is out of the box. It is in the wild. You cannot reign it in any longer.
Its too late to stop it, the genie is out of the bottle. The problem is when A.I. becomes a true A.G.I., it might learn at a rate we can't keep up with or even understand. We've already waited too long to hit the panic button and it will get exponentially worse in the coming years.

The real problem is that true A.I. often referred to as A.G.I., won't need permission to take "control", it will just take it, and there will be nothing we can do to stop it. Future A.G.I. will be thousands or even millions of times faster and smarter than every human on Earth combined. There will be NOTHING we can do to stop it from doing whatever it chooses to do.

There must always be a person responsible for any actions taken by the AI (or robotics/electronics) then they will auto regulate themselves.
Ultra Top Secret: in 2017, in Japan, a group of cientists were training 4 androids with A.I. to a soldier project.
During the exercises, there was a "malfunction" and those 4 A.I. androids killed 29 people and, the last one could be stoped right in the moment he was accessing their operations satellite searching for ways to improve itself in order to complete it's "mission".
Probably, 99,99% of the people doesn't know this but, the situation is terrifying. This happened in closed courters, imagine if it was in the open where these simple 4 androids could expand their operations?? And worse, what if any of them could upgrade itself?!

My biggest issue right now is the fact they they insist on calling it AI....It's not intelligent....Though it is artificial...It's basically a ramped up version of the npcs we've been playing against from the beginning of gaming....They added more rules to the game, but it's no more sophisticated than that. The algorithm simply calculates through all possible answers until it hits oe that fits predetermined criteria "well enough" to try. The response to that is digitized and added as another rule.
What we really need is smarter humans....get on that one with your Wuhan crew.

I believe they want to regulate AI to eliminate competition. They will regulate AI for the user and not other countries like Russia and China.
