- Join me on my first gravel bike packing weekend back in October 2021. I explored my local playground, on a 180km route from my doorstep. Bike packing for 2 nights, wild camping, and exploring across the South Wales Valleys, and the beautiful Gower Peninsula.

Hope you're ok Sarah, we're all missing you and your adventures 🤗
Exactly what I was thinking today...
I have missed you. You are joyous. Thank you for brightening up life.
Sarah, Your personality is infectious! Your adventures are a cure for the doldrums, and I hope to see more of your daft antics. Please keep them coming .
What an adventure, Sarah, thank you very much for this video. I was drawn to the subject because back in the day when I was 17, four of us made away from the Midlands down to south Wales and to youth hostel on the Gower. But that was back in 1968 which of course makes me 72 this year and the only way I can really enjoy the memories of such adventures is by watching videos such as yours. I am not sure why pannier bags are not in vogue nowadays. You can pack a lot of gear in them and stash some stuff on the top. Also it keeps the centre of gravity lowdown on the bike and it means you don’t need anything on your back. As for those horses, I bet it was like a three ring circus turning up in their backyard. They have never had such an entertaining night. Also I am warming to your ‘camera verite’ approach, which means that you don’t over polish the production and tell things as they are.
Got to love Wales for bikepacking. Can’t wait until next month onwards when I can load the bike and go exploring without carrying every piece of kit I own to stay warm.
I had a similar camp but with cows on Swyrehead in the purbecks. Went to sleep, got woke by something licking my tent. Turns out the field had over 100 cows in and then were licking my tent. I shit myself
how cool to be surrounded by wild horses !!!
"Skiddy skid life, like your pants" Caught me off guard and made me choke on my coffee 😂😂
I’ve missed my spirit guide. Glad your back. ❤🎉🙏😇😍🥰🙃🙂🧐
yay at last the mad lass is back 👍🤪
Great adventure. Looking forward to your next vid in 2024 😅😂
Sarahs Back!!! 😁🥰
I am fiddling "Swinging n a Gate" on my violin.....
Salut from Brunswick, Maine, US.

You brave adventurer- The horses, full moon, graveyard and half rotten sheep would have had me cycling home. Your videos may be infrequent, but they are always hilarious and thoughtfully edited💫
Laughed so hard I pee'd my pants... beautiful sights and hilarious commentary, loved it.
Hi. Good to see you back. Cheered up a miserable wet Mon morning thanx. “You are thank goodness still as mad as a box of frogs”😁👍
Cool sights, great editing Magsy girl. That RHigos looks epic for paragliding, might get my arse over there too!
I recognised the Vattenfall logo, you honoured them with a visit to Pen Y Cymoedd windfarm. Well done, great video!

Nice to meet you mate! Hope you had a good hike. I’ll do a film if you do 🤣🤣😁
@@FitforAdventure I had full intentions of doing a film on Saturday. Not sure if I got good enough footage, and probably not as funny as you on yours 😂
Nice one Sarah, glad you didn't get trampled in the night! 😂
Loved that my kind of woman bubbly and funny go girl
Just wonderful, as always. So much fun.
I haven't been to the Gower for many a year. Must go back this year.
As ever your videos is very inspiring and entertaining.
I have a tip on protraying an adventure story - on screen travel from left to right until you're at the end point before returning, from then film from right to left, reverse/flip the screen if you need to.
You've gotta name that bike the boneshaker express.. Would definitely shake my filling out!
Thank you so much for your videos

Thankyou. What a delightful surprise to wake to your video a great start to the day. So looking forward to walking in Wales, Welsh 3000, if I make in July
Love the energy you have when you're out and exploring. You've even inspired me to start bush crafting/camping again this year. Thank you.
Great video, lass. Not an area I know, but it certainly looks well worth a visit. Nice to see you're still as daft as ever. Love it. All the best, Davey. x
Brilliant, good to see you back, even with old footage. You make me laugh, always enjoy your videos👍❤
Recognised Craig y Llyn and Got quite emotional seeing sign for Resolven my mums from there , loads of family there lovely countryside , I haven’t walked up there for years but desperately keen to either walk it or bike it, Seen bike routes ... Wondering were you up above Melyn court with the locked gate ?
Chuffing heck bois, just when we thought Pete the Bog Man had kidnapped her for himself she's back with another great adventure.
I'm stealing skiddie skid life, like your pants. To clarify I'm stealing the whole phrase, I'm not the guy who steals your pants, that's Ken the Cairn Man.
Loved this bike packing hike like always🙏what a treat for chilling with a beer after a hiking weekend of my own.
Enjoyed that Sarah thanks for sharing..
Happy New year 🎉
Great Video. Love the humour
Brilliant video again 👏 inspiring educational( sort of 😬) but defo funny as usual... love it !
Always glad to watch your films....your a fun girl, adventurous, and got real good film making skills. I watch and realise stuff I'm not doing on mine!!
Genuine question, what do the valleys have a bad reputation?🤔
Great to see you back 🙂
I've been wondering where you've bin.
Wales
You are the breath of fresh air we all need in life. Loved it.
You made my day, once again. Thank you and never change!

Hi Sarah nice to see you again love all the hilarities. And i would have been more worried about them trampoline the bike 😂
Hi great video I'm new to long distance cycling it's a great way to see different parts of the country
you are ace, your videos/vlogs are brilliant...that is all 👍
It definitely looks like New England, with fewer forests.
Those horses regrouped during the night to plan one final assault on your tent 😂 🐎
Loved it! Great to see you back.
As always a terrific video Sarah. Geez you make me laugh. I wish I could find an older (much older) version of you to share adventures with - but I’d probably ‘peg it’ due to choking from laughing hahaha! Looking forward to watching more videos from you.
Fantastic, thanks Sarah great to watch another hilarious and inspiring video
A new subscriber here👋🏾 your videos are a source of inspo! The horses here 😂😂 Your character is great! Look forward to seeing more of your adventures!
Can you imagine being camped out near where you were with the ponies but with no idea of your existence, then hearing someone mentally roaring in the dead of the night!! I'd die in my bag with fright lol
Very recently did route 47 from Newport to Neath, with a camp in St. Gwynno Forest - really good I have to say but that damn gate at 08:50 is still bloomin' locked! What a hassle to get a laden bike over that! 😀
And I filled my bottle at exactly the same bridge - thought I recognised it from somewhere when I was there!
A really good, easy-to-follow and access overnighter.
Great video Sarah and hope to do the Gower bit at some point too.👍
Brave or crazy but very entertaining, love it 👍🏻
I may not be a horse but that roar would've terrified me at 3am beside an ancient burial chamber! 😄 I've barked at a fox before and felt bad about doing that...!
Always enjoy following your adventures. Always looking forward to the next. Or previous! Depending on what you decide to edit and when. 🙂
Please can you make more videos to cheer me up. You are a legend!
My favourite playground the gower 👌
Susan may not have been a-moo-sed but I was, to see a new upload from RUclips’s most popular irregular adventure vlogger. And saying "shoo" to the horses probably wasn't the best bet, they must have thought you were a farrier offering them a new set and that is obviously why they didn't leave you alone. Thanks for the video.
Running next to my tent, I think they were chasing off evil spirits trying to get in your tent.❤😂😂😂❓🤔 You are camping on an ancient burial mound.😂😂❤ 3 am the witching hour.👍 Brilliant video as always.❤
OMG! I rode this on Monday. I normally head down the Blade but carried on and hit that damn gate!! There is a kissing gate on the left hand side which is not easy to spot but then I missed the grass path that you went down and got myself totally lost haha... All fun and games!
Good to see you back 🙌 😀
Thanks pal! The sporadic video uploading continues hey 😅👌🏼
What an amazing adventure. I have just returned from the Gower and fair play to you cycling all that way and tackling some of those trails you did. Looks like you had amazing weather.
Eye you are bonkers but that's why I've been following you since 2019..???..brilliant
Beautiful video and cinematography. Wonderful bikepacking exploration. Nice narration. New follower here. Crow✌️
Aww, loved this, thanks for posting. It doesn't matter how sporadically you post as your videos are always so funny and entertaining. Please keep them coming.
You've got a natural talent for RUclips, the way you engage viewers and take us along. You're very funny as well. It's inspiring; feels like I can walk out my doorstep any minute.. Everybody should enjoy a good gravel bike packing adventure at least once in their lives.
Drove along the M4 passed Swansea this week and thought of this video looking at ‘the mound’ and ‘scabby sheds’ 🤣
great adventure!
My home!!❤
Hey Sarah, I've got a miserable cold /flu thing and I can't get out! Put a a little vlog on please, ime watching all your oldies! Anything would be great.pleeeease!

My favourite channel HI FROM CARDIFF
Thank you Sarah, another very watchable insight into your beautiful country (and your head 😂). I grabbed a screenshot of the first pony and sun, hope you don't mind? I sent a copy to your Insta (I hope) 🤔
love watching your adventures, so refreshing especially when I'm stuck in the office in the Midlands missing North Wales, keep up the good work 🙂😍🙂
Missed you.❤
Nope those bloody gates would seriously piss me off and prevent me from ever attempting an off road trip. But which is a shame but how good is your video xx
No wonder we managed to have a 3 hour natter that one time in the beacons, I swear you were secretly on permanent diet of chocolate and tangfastics that entire journey ☺️ great to see you return with another video, and inspiration to maybe try some bikepacking. I wouldn’t have gotten any sleep with all those horses 😵💫 all the best!
Fantabbytoosie, more please, Sarah’s catch phrase, ‘fallen off me bike again’, when will you be strapping the paddle board to the bike, you may have to ditch the kitchen sink…. thinks 🤔 horses, bike packing, mule train, ya missed a trick there, pony bike packing, can 🐴 orse ride 🚲 bike? 🤷♂️🤪
These are great, I think you should do this full time.
