I just feel Matt's girlfriend is running the show
Matt lets Caryn have too much contol over his dealings with everyone. She causes a lot of trouble because she is greedy, bossy and shares Matts need for complete control over every situation. I don't like her and never have, even as a farm employee she stuck her nose into matters that were none of her business. Matt should have fired her and worked on improving his relationship with Amy and their kids.
She wanted amy pushed out. I guess Zach and tori sucked up for nothing

Matt is a harsh selfish person in my opinion. He and Karin have had a relationship a long time. How far that went we can only guess. Karin and her kids will end up with the farm. She is playing Matt. Karma!

Dads been telling his son for years the farm is his kids legacy . Then when time comes for them to buy it he tells the son no you’re not good enough to have any part of it. And then he’s mystified why his son is not coming to the farm anymore? He didn’t want it for free but he would have been a fool to pay the price that dad wanted.
Matt should be ashamed for putting profit over family. He could have accepted Zach’s offer and told him this would also be considered Zach’s portion of his inheritance. That would leave the rest of the farm for Matt to use for the other three kids to inherit. That way the farm would remain in the Roloff family. That should be their legacy and not be sold off to outsiders.
I do agree with Amy. Matt shouldn't have treated Zach like any other vendor, he is his son. He could have been more understanding. Now he has to deal with the consequences of his actions. I do agree with anyone that says that he gives Caryn too much control with dealing with people. Zach didn't want the farm for free, like he said on the show. I am happy and glad that Zach and Toei and their family have moved away from their father. I feel for Amy and Chris, but they are more supportive and understanding with Zach and Tori. So what is Matt going to do? He should work it out with Zach and he wonders why Zach and Tori are uncomfortable around him. I think Karin is butting in where it’s none of her business. Chris certainly doesn’t do that. We all saw what Matt did to Amy but tried to blame her. You don’t even hear anything about the other kids. I think Karin is trying to get everything from Matt!
Caryn is the problem and the Arizona home came from her family so they have the best of 2 worlds. Her divorce was very dirty probably because she cheated.

I think that Amy said the truth about everything. Matt is a little to cocky about everything. My Dad took off when I was only 6 years old. (He wasn't out of my life permanently). I feel Caryn should stay out of it - I think it would be hard to pick what son would get the farm - with both the brothers being the same age - We see more of Zac there Jeremy and I would have loved to see Zac raise his kids there - Amy should have gave the twins a chance to buy her land not sell it to Matt - going to be sad if anything happens to Matt Caryn will get it all - bad mistake
How do you know that Caryn will get the property should anything happen to Matt? Do you know the contents of his Will and they aren't married so unless you know more than you're letting on, maybe comments like yours should be reserved.

I disagree with the other commenter, Matt has done his children dirty. I think he is letting Caryn call the shots. After all she does look bossy. Those are his children and they should come first before any woman. The boys didn't want the farm for free but they did want to be treated like family and get a discount. That's normal to feel that way
I had watch this show from it's beginnings and I can remember Matt always saying how much he desired his kids to have the farm one day...TLC could find these statements and make a great show regarding money is more important to him than his kids...

If someone wants to leave a legacy for their children, you don’t do what Matt Roloff did by trying to pull one over on your children, wanting to get rich off of them, after all they are your family and not some stranger that walked off the street! Matt is very controlling, very shrewd and a very calculating businessman that messed up big time by treating his children the same way he would an outsider! He made tons of money off his kids over the years by having them signed up on this show and none of his children had a say so in when they were young! For Matt to say that Zach is lazy and wouldn’t want to do the work on the farm is pretty rich coming from a man who himself has all sorts of help with his farm! All Matt does is dream up what he can build next and operate his machinery (toys) besides driving his Quad around! Caryn Chandler, Matt’s girlfriend is a gold digger and needs to stop sticking her nose into the Roloff family affairs because it is NONE of her business! Matt allowing her to sit in on family meetings and calling the shots is very unwise of him and very wrong, all this will come back one day to bite him in the rear, with him having huge regrets about what he did! There will be no legacy left for his children because because they don’t want any part of his farm any longer! Money is apparently way more important to Matt Roloff then his own children and grandchildren which is so sad. Like the Bible says, for the love of money is the root of all evil! Why?? When Matt’s worth 6 million and Matt didn’t pay Amy enough compared to what he’s asking for the property he’s selling. She’s on her own now and had to buy a home and have some to put away so she’s supposed to sell cheap and let Matt get 4 million? No I don’t think so.

I do think Zack made a good point. Zack is young and raising three children. Matt should take that into account that Zack’s finances are leaner because of this. Matt did not even take into account all of the time and efforts Zack has previously put into the farm. Just the fact that Matt changed the portion of the farm to not include part of the farm that Zack was most interested in. Also, I think it was poor judgement on Matt’s part to include Caryn in the meeting. Caryn should have no say in the sale. She was an employee not part owner.

Matt just loves being in control, and acting like Mr Businessman, so he treated his kids the same way. But they are family, and should be treated as such. Zach saw through him a while ago when he said that his dad was too hard to work with, so it wouldn't work to be in business with him. Amy has always been the one to care for the kids, so it's good that she is doing so now too. Matt's finally in control, and where has it. Zach and Tori have a beautiful property now, in Washington, so the kids have a lot of space to roam, and have fun in nature. Good for them.

Was she supposed to sell cheaper than Matt paid which was $975,000 compared to what he’s selling his part for plus he still has the income of the Farm with the Pumpkin Patch etc. She needed to buy a home and get out on her own while Matt was set up and also rents the house out and makes that money.

Tell me what he did for his kids other than build something to play on? Wouldn’t go to thier soccer games, birthday parties or take the children on vacations. Amy was extremely involved in everything and Matt was an alcoholic and was arrested twice and came home late due to cheating with Caryn. He’s a control freak! Even after the divorce the boys felt bad so Jeremy and Zach came up with a great idea to cook Thanksgiving for everyone included the spouses family too and gave a time and the boys ran late so Amy jumped in and helped. Here comes Matt…sat down at the table alone complaining about the dinner being late. He couldn’t even appreciate what the boys did as it was the first Holiday after the divorce. Always putting down Amy and I’ve seen Caryn do the same things as Amy and Matt laughs. No I’m sorry he’s controlling and now I hope he’s happy with his gold digger girlfriend pushing him in a stroller!🤦🏼♀️

It’s easy for Amy to criticize Matt about the way he treated his sons but impossible for her to admit that she was a really nasty wife to him. The last several years of the show was difficult to watch because Amy was so angry & unhappy. The house was a mess and l often wondered what she did with her time.
So you would be happy and chipper after finding out your husband cheated on you, with someone that was supposed to be your friend!
Amy should keep her opinions to herself. I love seeing Matt happy after many years of nagging. Amy is nothing but a pot stirrer.
