What are you talking about? Veronica didn't press Archie AT ALL about it. She didn't ask him to apologize or even ask him anything relevant. She let him get away with the cheating. Jughead loved her so he still wanted to be with her one last time but the cheating made him decide for them to go their separate ways. Seasons later, it turns out Veronica really didn't care about the cheating and Jughead still had not forgiven Betty.

@@McSmikkelbeer if I remember correctly both Varchie and Bughead had gotten into fights and afterwards Betty and Archie met up to rehearse a song and then they kissed, the couples made up but netheir of them told the others of the kiss. Betty and Archie kept meeting up to figure their feelings out but after Archie sang a song he made for her she felt bad and said she didn't want to hurt either Jughead or Veronica and they should stop, and that probably their feelings came from a place of security and familiarity when they were in the middle of a bunch of riverdale typical terrors. Some time later Archie told Veronica about the kiss and they were acting weird and distant with each other, this scene is right after Jughead asks Betty if she knows what the weirdness is about and she confesses.

When i follow a series i always cheer for the " suffering misunderstood character", in this case jug and betty but more jug, i do that cause that's how i look at myself and when it happens i always hope that something would change or things get better to the character cause i think if it happens to him it would make me more self confident and i think if he/she made it and something good happens then i can also make it and go on; so seeing scenes like this with the misunderstood character suffering it just break my heart 🥺🥺❤ (sorry for my bad english)
