This house is good because it includes (IMO) every necessity. Stove, oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer. When you can squeeze all that into a small house, you've designed well.
They do make fire escape windows that are easy to step over for those concerns about a second door. Though a door wouldn't hurt. Very cute comfortable house and layout! I like the bedroom being separate. If two ppl, one can't sleep well or work different shifts or different sleep patterns you have a place to go while the other sleeps 💤 comfortable! Then, what if you have company?

Or desk when folded up. You don’t need a bedroom when awake, and you don’t need a living room when asleep. So make the space convertible. And if you’re gonna build tall enough for second floor window, might as well make that a loft bed space. Additionally, you won’t get a permit for this if it does not have a back door.
Make entry door single. More living room space. Kitchen table could be an island with seating for more storage. Shelves in bathroom.. no desk. A dresser. Laptops are available for work. An exit door in bedroom.
Get rid of the entertainment center and install a fireplace instead . Eliminate the window in the bedroom Where the desk is and put a door It would perfect!!! ❤😊😅💫😄🌷
Thought that was a styling choice. A portable fireplace can used in that space. Adding a traditional fireplace would probably be a big increase in budget for the build. Kinda like being able to make that space whatever you want.
The roof pitch with windows upstairs is misleading. There’s no 2nd point of egress. Kitchen is way too small with no prep space, pantry to store countertop appliances. Not going to have a washer/dryer combo. Bedroom is fair but there’s no place for my furniture and no where else in the home can I see adequate storage options.

Furniture too bulky for layout in LR. Table too close to stove. White closets in BR don't match rustic look of walls. Stackable W/D should be enclosed. Outdoor seating area will be mostly unusuable due to bugs, sun and rain. Should be attached on the side, screened in. Second exit for safety.
