I have known Gergő for a long time, and it is easy from there: He destined to play only with the best.. This violinist blew me away now! On top of this whole performance.

QUESTION: what happens when you put together two musicians from Russia with two from Hungary, add a generous helping of Mahavishnu Orchestra and a sprinkling of fast and furious folk dances from Eastern and Central Europe punctuating is with more folk music from the same area, only this time of a melancholic flavour?
    ANSWER: You get TETE-A-TETE.
For the musicians to be on top of their game is most helpful in the execution, of course, but I could also play like this if I only had eight fingers per hand, like Rakita, Bolari, Davidiants and Lukács.

Hey Jeff, one more time, thanks for this wonderful piece of music from Eastern Europe. So much feeling, so much technique, so many historical themes of their music together with modern fusion, so much power, so much fun and love with this musicians. And once again it’s remarkable for me, how much musicians from this countries are under our radar in “our wester world”… thanks a lot for playing this on your channel 🎵🫶🏻. Greetings from (West)Germany 😉

Everything you said, so true. That there are musicians of this calibre, presenting this quality of music and yet remaining largely unknown in the West...it is a shame in so many ways. I keep hoping that a listen here and a listen there and people may discover what they've been missing.

I knew you would love it and everything you said completely resounds with everything I've felt since listening to this song-I don't know how many times. I too was especially impressed with the technicality and emotion of Rakita's playing. She may have become my favorite violinist with just her effort here. I'm now going to watch your reaction again as it's like getting to watch it with a friend and that's just really cool. Thanks so much.
