guide to replacing your trailer bearings, race & seal to your triton trailer #trailer #triton #boat #how #jetski #seadoo #yamaha #kawasaki #trailermaintenance
Just bought a jetski with a trailer and the grease was brown and water was oozing out. Found your vid and it helped out alot. Just subscribed. I'm out here in Cape Coral hope to ride with you guys
You do everything the hard way. Instead of beating the grease cap off, use a rag between the jaws of channel locks. It'll come off easily with no marks. Remove outter bearing and thread the nut back on a couple turns, now grab the hub and slam it towards you. Seal and inner bearing will come out of hub and hang on the spindle.
@JeTsKi_MiSfItS yes I know they're bearing buddies. I've been an ase certified master tech since 1982. I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about. I didn't mention you changing the races. I was referring to you struggling to remove the inner bearing and seal. I wasn't trying to be negative, I was trying to offer what I feel is an easier way. And back to your bearing buddies, unless you pack the entire center of the hub, the only bearing getting grease is the outside bearing. Which is why so many boat trailers still loose wheel bearings despite having them.
@@TheSuperdubstep you're not hitting 85 plus on a 22 FX unless u spend ALOT of money and go turbo conversion. New hull FX are very hard to reach that. U will need a reputable tuner like Dean's team to custom tune and do all their secret modifications

U know those arent grease caps right? They're bearing buddies that are forced in & secured metal to metal. I guess u don't change the race?
