- It's a sunny March day in Banff, Alberta, Canada. Loram rail grinder, LMIX 3416, works its way westbound on the Canadian Pacific Laggan Subdivision going past the station at MP82 grinding the mainline. It was followed closely by a CP MoW employee in a high rail.

Nice catch! Sweet video!
Nice catch bro
Howdy ben nice to see you again hope you’re doing well and hope your kids still like trains funny enough some people grow out of it but then it always comes back to them Delores
Great close up look at this operation Ben. Thank you.
I hope you make some layout vids again someday. I was really looking forward to seeing Morant's Curve finished. I hope you're OK.
Hi Brock, sorry for the lack of content. I just haven't had the drive to make any videos about the layout this year. The Honda minibikes and Farm stuff have just been more appealing to me lately. I haven't stopped working on the layout, just not making videos as they take a lot of time and effort. I hope to get back into the groove this fall.
@@BArailsystem Thanks for the reply. I look forward to it!
Fantastic capture great view totally awesome BARailsystems cool video 👍🏻🚂
Beautiful scenes of the rail grinder!
Man I don’t miss that job. One of the dirtiest I ever did.
Nice! A friend of mine saw this working in Golden BC a couple weeks after this video was taken.
CP and CN takes great care of their tracks and equipment
cool
Cool video! Any update on your layout coming soon?
What was the locomotive in the front? It looks kinda like a British diesel, but it also doesn’t at the same time
They're all custom built for Loram, most likely from discarded early GP parts. There's some smaller Loram trains running around like the Side Ballast Cutter that seems to have a locomotive roughly the size of an SW1500.
@@timgrover1598 Oh cool!
Can someone please make this train in plastic?! Shron I'm looking at you!
