Being both a railfan and an emergency response supporter, these pieces of equipment are well worth celebrating in both these communities.
When the tones go out and there's a fire, police, EMT or other search and rescue response needed, these brave and noble heroes answer the call, sirens on and lights ablaze, to HEAD 'EM UP, AND ROLL 'EM OUT!

Here in Germany, Austria and some other European Countrys, some Fire Departments for example have also specialised fire Trucks with hi rail gear, most of them are heavy duty rescue trucks and have special Equipment on Board, while others are traditional Tanker.

Some underground stations in my country's subway/metro have trolleys folded up & stored at 1 end of the platform, that can be unfolded & placed on the track to be ridden by firefighters to rescue people from trains trapped between stations. Stationary water jets can also be mounted on trolleys on rails to put out fires in train tunnels

Being both a railfan and emergency vehicle nerd, it's so cool to see a combo of both topics, I always really liked Norfolk Southern's first responders train, it's awesome.
If I ever could I'd love to recreate or see someone recreate a Conrail Police 9C1 Chevy Caprice lol, like I've people rebuild cop cars, and railroad vehicles, but never a railroad police car.

Conrail had a special semi truck trailer (CRZ 204022) designed as a bait for would-be thieves with trap doors. It would get mixed into their intermodal/trailer-on-flatcar consists of high-valve cargo (namely electronics).

not much difference between a fire engine and railroad engine: instead of pumping pistons to move driving wheels the engines pumped pistons to move water out of hydrants! and in the early 1900s until the late 1920s they drove the engines as well- simply put them on rails and they’d be no different than other engines 🤣

several rail networks across Europe run their dedicated fire and rescue trains, like e.g. in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Norway. They're based at lines which are difficult to reach as they're up in the mountains, go through lots of tunnels or high-speed lines which are difficult to access as well.
Some sections of track which only might have difficult access might be covered by only a single rescue car, which will be taken to the incident by a locomotive.
