Download Battlesmiths NOW and start your adventure: battlesmiths.onelink.me/OnW0/1ml9vv5c The bottom-right corner looks weird because apparently if you put VTube Studio (the software I use for tracking) in fullscreen mode but play EU4 in a different resolution, it changes the resolution of VTube Studio and moves everything in OBS. I will never put VTube Studio in fullscreen mode ever again. Anyway, my editor Peri did a great job of covering it up so hopefully it's not too unwatchable.
I played a game as Denmark once and got a PU over the Palatinate, some Bavarian country that I don't remember, and I got the Burgundian Inheritance. They always talk about the Hbasburg crown collection but don't underestimate the Wittelsbachs. Also speaking of PUs I've noticed that you can semi-consistently get a Bohemian PU or inheritance as Muscovy it's pretty funny.
You do lose the claim on someone's throne if they get an heir, not sure if it was changed in an update, but I have had that happen to me a few times. Almost stole Aragon from under Castille's nose but they got an heir during the truce :P
You lose your claim to a throne if they get an heir with a good claim, basically - if anything happens which would have stopped you from claiming in the first place, then you lose the claim. Only reason to claim before the truce is over would be to get a pop up telling you when to bird.
I've got COVID over Christmas and the weather is also miserable, but hearing you say "Holy Roman Cope" honestly just made it all irrelevant 😂😂 Merry Christmas Quarbit!
is there anyway you could explain in one of your videos how PUs work and how you got them because I never get them, maybe i'm just unlucky but it feels like i'm doing it wrong.
my understanding of PUs is held together with experience and duct tape. here's an infographic which explains it in detail, but even I have trouble understanding it completely: www.reddit.com/r/eu4/comments/pzsld6/infographic_guide_to_personal_unions/
I never had any luck with the request heir on throne for favors mechanic. Seems to me the AI just immediately disinherits them. Which makes total sense, it stops me from getting a PU. Just seems to defeat the purpose.
sorry, I meant he's 9 years old *and* it's a regency. it's impossible for anyone to vote for me. a child can be voted emperor while his dad is emperor, because once he dies it'll just pass to his son (even under regency) but while actively under a regency, no one can vote for you
... wait, have you just like never played Denmark before? Yeah, you need to be larger to integrate a PU partner, that's one of Denmark's early-game woes is growing enough to annex Norway and then eventually Sweden.

quarbit gaming euIV vtuber, good
did you know there's also a game called nidhogg? it's pretty good
You speak like those videos of family guy where they isolate a word and then show an image of said word
@@kremitthefog3881 thanks, it was a gift from my parents (autism)

Fun fact: Landshut is the only country in eu4 that has male ruler, heir and queen consort

the weird part is that when I lost that hungary claim, they didn't even have an heir. it just disappeared (which is why I birded)
They need an heir with a strong 100 claim heir to lose the claim so weak claim heirs don't needed to be birded.
@@kylekelly1167actually average claim (50 to 75 claim) is enough to loose the PU CB. or if you wait more than 20 years.
@@sasi5841 thanks
Hmm, have you considered "BAVARIA is the ULTIMATE PU MASTER" as a title? Seems to work for plenty of others
I say this because you mention struggling with the title at the beginning of the video. Hope this helps.
I did that once for burgundy, then I saw a bunch of people complain on reddit about those titles lol

ah yeah, it's the claim strength I was thinking of. you're right, a high strength heir would disqualify the claim
Honestly the highlight of this video was seeing Ragusa beating the hell out of Venice with the help of the Ottomans and then forming Dalmatia.
But unfortunately then Venice used the Uno Reverse Card and conquered almost all Dalmatian territories...
Absolutely crazy run. Love it.
I blame the Oktoberfest for the Wittelsbachs getting on all kinds of thrones and being not inbred like the habsburgs ^^
part 2 of this run bro, that was so fun to watch
please continue this campaign! i wanna see it continue.

I've noticed that as well. I guess it wasn't bad enough that the feature is completely disabled on hard or very hard mode
The avatar editing mistake reminds me of those magnifying glasses small circles that are furhter zoomed in

I played denmark once for a speedrun, but I kinda cheesed the mechanics
Stupidest way? I'd say the funniest way. Collecting allies and PUs like pokemon is the only legit way to play in the HRE :p
