Awesome! I wish more people covered classic DOS games; there's plenty of NES/SNES/Sega cover artists, but not the amazing classics like Sierra's titles, which had fantastic scores. My top wish is for someone to cover the Disney-esque ballad "A Land Beyond Dreams" from KQ7... :)
Hah that was awesome. KQ5 had my favourite King's Quest soundtrack. Mark Seibert and Ken Allen were my favourite Sierra composers. Great job on the cover! And the singer sounds wonderful as well!
I love all these music, but my very favorite is Ben Houge´s "Song of the Sylph" from KQ8. Now it is 2023 and it is still a must-have on the SD-card in my car radio.
Was just playing KQ5, heard the willow song and wondered if there were any awesome covers of it on YT... and then I found this. Sounds fantastic! :D Love that folk rock vibe you gave it!
I waited in line at WaldenSoftware in 1990 for the KQ5 CD rom release to play on my 486. So trippy to be hearing an insanely awesome cover of one of the best songs in that game 32 years later. Great job you guys.
That's awesome. I was pretty young when I played this game so I didn't always know what I was doing so I actually never heard this song until a few years later haha
I love this game and song from the game and I just love your version of it too. Soo cool. You have done such an awesome job of it I can listen to it over and over again. 😁😁😁😁😁👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 10/10
This seriously made me emotional beyond words... thank you so much for covering a beautiful song from one of my favourite games!! And with a dash of badass added to it no less. Instant sub
This is awesome. Aside: I always thought this song was based on _Castle on a Cloud_ from _Les Misérables_. I wonder if it is supposed to be, or just a coincidence that they sound similar.
+Matt Giuca I've seen a lot of people saying that lately. I think its a coincidence because its only one riff for a short time. Thanks for watching Matt!
Excellent cover! This game is my favorite of the series which has great songs to pick from. Good choice on this track. It fits the mood of the game so well, I can understand why you'd select it. The girl deserves props too! I'm going to go listen to all your other covers now. :)
@@ProjectGenesisMusic I don't doubt it. I'm now trying to learn this bit on guitar. Becoming a little better everyday. The chords are messing with me though.
Great work man!! You have covered many of the old classics (on different formats) that I enjoyed as a child. This is definitly my favorite piece from KQ5! :-)
+Soundole VGM Covers Thanks guy! I always debate how to record or mix clean rhythms, but I think this way works. So glad I found narkatika she is amazing.
That was incredible! like yourself I have always loved this song from the game and you two have done it some amazing justice. Well done, great arrangement!
This is awesome! I was thinking of doing a cover of this as well. Glad to see that King's Quest is getting more love than just me. Great work to the both of you!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I love this song and I've been wanting to make a cover of it myself for a while now. This turned out so well. If you need another female vocalist for something, let me know (especially King's Quest!), but narkatika does an AWESOME job here so I'm very glad you found her :)
"Well I won't need this ol thing anymore!"

+3HeadedMonkey I agree. DOS had some sick games with awesome soundtracks.
+3HeadedMonkey God I love your response! Brought a memorable tear to my eye...
Great work!! Thank you, from Roberta and Ken Williams!
Holy crap, it is! Love you guys! Actually downloaded the classic Sierra Newsletters and InterAction mags in PDF and reading thru them is a joy!
