In Chess, the KING can perform an action known as "Castling". When a KING Castles, it *jumps over* a few spaces to meet and *swap places with* the ROOK. If Chess Theory holds, and we run into the ROOK in Chapter 3...
Surely, the bishop is next in line if king then queen, right? I love the idea though. I think its clear that chess was hugely considered in chaoter 1, though who knows now
So in Chapter 1, the secret boss Jevil warns us about Queen, simply mentioning her as 'the Queen', and sure enough we got Queen in Chapter 2. In Chapter 2, the secret boss Spamton warns us about Mike, telling Kris Mike is a criminal. By Google definition, a rook is a swindler; cheat. And a swindler is a a person who uses deception to deprive someone of money or possessions. Sounds like a criminal, doesn't it? So we have King, Queen, Rook. For the rest of these pieces, all we have is speculation, no evidence is available to prove this. Now people theorize Chapter 4 will take place in the Church, if Chess Theory is true, this means this chapter will have the Bishop. It only fits best with the setting. So we have King, Queen, Rook, Bishop. After 4 whole chapters of build-up, Chapter 5 might introduce the Knight. I know, we really don't have evidence, but it's fun to think. Now all's left is the pawn. In that case, Chapter 6 might be when Kris fully breaks free and rebels against us, being an antagonist of this chapter. And since we've kinda been controlling over them this whole time, they are the pawn. So according to this, the order we meet the chess pieces is King, Queen, Rook, Bishop, Knight, and Pawn. This leaves Chapter 7, which will either be an epilogue or some major climax.

@@theonetruemilkman4894 But, that's just a theory. A GAME THEORY!
@@theonetruemilkman4894 In chapter 7, you should have to fight Toby Fox himself.
It would be pretty cool to fight King again. My guess is that King escapes his cell and wants to battle after leaving everyone behind in Cyber City
holy fucks it's minos prime
