Thanks for the update Chris! I agree that the continuance issue is something I’m facing three weeks post surgery. Having very good control especially at night or when sitting... anytime I am putting static pressure on pelvic floor muscles. Getting up and walking around like being at work can result in a little bit of leakage. Went to the external catheter (single use self adhesive silicone 32mm, found on eBay) and small leg bag during the work day which is a real God send because I can stay 100% completely dry. Set a timer on my phone to remind me to visit the bathroom on regular basis which helps daytime control. Simply unplug the drain line at the top cath connection, then it allows to use the bathroom normally and then just plug it back in. I hope other guys will consider this option while they heal and develop better control.

These talks are fantastic. Makes me feel like I am following a fairly normal path. (Feb 24 surgery less than 3 weeks ago .....). Thank you! (Yes its an emotional and physical roller coaster)

glad to hear that you are feeling better. i went through a really deep dark depression after i suffered a miscarriage with my first pregnancy and that was a result of hormone imbalance. i think you're right that it was hormonal for you as well. it is a dark place when you're in the midst of it, but, you are living proof that it doesn't last forever! glad to hear you've come through
