Hi Emily, it's great to see you looking more relaxed and optimistic. You do such an amazing job! I love your laundry area. Hubby is very talented with his woodworking tools. I especially love that the timber was free and repurposed. Peel and stick vinyl tiles are brilliant and so simple to DIY, plus they're really durable. I've used them in both my homes and am planning to do my current kitchen floor in them soon. I second the pegboard idea as a backing for the bench as you could hang things on the front and the back of the board. For example, coats could be hung up when getting out of the car, you could even have hooks for shoes to hang and dry/air out between wears on the garage side. You could hang baskets, gadgets like a lint remover, sewing kit for buttons etc, a mirror (always handy) your internet box ..... even some pretties on the laundry side. You go girl! Super cute! If you do the MDF backing you could totally make it into some peg-board with hooks which would be so handy for like, shopping bags, school bags, that sort of thing. Love the storage!
Love that laundry area. In my house my washing machine is in the shed. So I sometimes forget when I put the washing on because it's in there 😂. They added extra cupboards in the laundry room and put a sink in the shed for washing machine. Could I please ask where you got your vacuum/mop and what brand it is it please? Does it clean up the floor quite well. I've been wanting to purchase one. I have 3 kids and omg my floors 😂.
I really like it colour looks good and draws with baskets great idea mine is a mess LOL dunno what to do you gave me ideas. How's Doordash also? I've started and it is slow.

That's not a bad idea but unfortunately that would be more structured then we were thinking
