Got to see one IRL today which was awesome, also got to see the cockpit of an F-16 and an A-10, got to look in the cockpit and talk to the pilot which was awesome!
Still my favorite modern aircraft set from Brickmania and the amazingly talented Cody Osell! (The SR-71 Blackbird is a very close second.) I always enjoyed watching the Raptors take off and land when I was stationed at Tyndall AFB (before the base got shwacked by Hurricane Michael). Such a fantastic set and very beefy in size and presence. I'm very glad it included a buildable stand to increase our display options. The wings and internal weapon bays are my favorite part of this design, although the way Cody did the nose, canopy, and air intake sections are cool too. Man, that's crazy that the USMC is doing away with tanks and artillery. To quote a future Colonial Space Marine, "Now what are we supposed to use? Harsh language?" :) Crazy changes are hitting all military branches, it seems. Hell, they're currently recruiting us USAF guys to join the newly created Space Force. My boss and at least one of my troops have expressed interest in possibly crossing over for the potential career advancement and promotion opportunities (personally, I want to stay put as I like the AF). Keep on building, man!
Are you going to join the Space Force... if so... does it come with a raise haha. You guys definitely have it made. I'm more of an F/18 Hornet guy myself. What we had.... lol Never had the opportunity to work or see Raptors.. But I'm sure they were up in the skies when we needed them. Cody did a great job with the entire kit and the stand amplifies the set.. and the air intakes was a genius build. I would say... this is my current favorite modern jet.
I know this is late, but the marines are getting rid of anything that can’t be transported in a timely manner. Tanks, artillery, etc take time to get ready for long range transporting. But things such as light armored vehicles are staying. The marines are basically the first responders of the military and simply have no use for those big and slow vehicles. That’s what the Army is for.
Thank you! I love adding some history to their sets. They pride themselves on historical accuracy. One thing I love about them... so I figure I highlight it.
Nice. I love the F 22 but Iam taking a break from Brickmania I have to many unbuilt kits probably 15-20 plus a pagoda not counting Lego kits. You know what would go great with this? The YF 23. There is a guy on Rebrickable that has instructions for one he does nice to work. I enloy your reviews helps me pull the trigger on some kits.
lol I'm almost in the same boat... but both Brickmania and LEGO keep coming up with awesome kits! haha it's a problem... but not a bad one... maybe for our wallets. haha
What an awesome build. I don't own any brickmania stuff, but this video has definitely got me interested. I also really enjoy your commentary on the US Military spending XD
Hey there, don't know if you'll see this but I highly recommend checking out the Miramar air show that's happening in the next week or two. The f-22 demo team will be there!
I was a jet engine mechanic in the Airforce for the B-1 and was "deployed" To Qatar. We were treated like kings when it came to food. I was just an e-3. Every Thursday we had lobsters. lol
I've never got the opportunity to communicate nor see one in person. Maybe one day at an airshow. Either way, just looking at videos... it's amazing what we have now over in over a century of fighting aircraft. But yes... Air Force have it good!
You can buy them off one of brickmania's reseller stores if you're lucky enough. I just bought one from brickmania's japanese reseller site and should be expecting to receive it in 5 days.
They have a huge overhead.. unlike most other 3rd party companies. They gave a huge staff, rent, licensing fees, utility bills, insurance, supplies, let alone the LEGO pieces they need to accumulate, and they have to buy their pieces at expensive prices that LEGO doesn’t have to do. What happens when you go into customs.

Just received mine! Hopefully this will look great escorting my UCS Falcon!
U r lucky
Can I get the instructions? :D I am looking to buy a copy!
This is the best Raptor LEGO replica I've ever seen. I want that Lightning II though

I watch for your history lessons and commentary. And Brickmaia does produce some amazing sets.
Thank you! I love adding some history to their sets. They pride themselves on historical accuracy. One thing I love about them... so I figure I highlight it.
@@SHYTIMEismyTIME you are most welcome.
I, too, miss the live-action shots on their boxes. The M1165A1 Humvee Special Ops has a great live-action shot.
I thought we were going to see you build by candlelight. That jet looks great!!
I was actually going to start doing that since I think it would have looked sweet on film... but then the lights turned back on haha.
@@SHYTIMEismyTIME Maybe the lights will be off longer next time there's a power outage.😀
Just ordered on that memorial day sale! Gonna look nice next to the F-35.

Thank you!
Yep, we USAF guys have it good. 😉 Back in 2011, when I first saw the F-22 perform, it was jaw dropping what it could do.
Gotta love the Raptor. I used to watch these birds take off and land all the time when I was stationed at Tyndall AFB (pre hurricane, of course).
I've never got the opportunity to communicate nor see one in person. Maybe one day at an airshow. Either way, just looking at videos... it's amazing what we have now over in over a century of fighting aircraft. But yes... Air Force have it good!
Wanting to add the ch53 to my air collection so bad

Did someone call starscream.
I say the marines should increase in artillery and the tanks 👍👍

Thank you for your service! 🇺🇸🦅🫡
Thank you! You are worth it!
F-22, 35, 14 or 16? Great video as always!
F-16 because it’s revolutionary and overall amazing flight capability.
If I were to choose... I would chose none and go with th F/18 Hornet. lol
Air Power!
Dont the marine corps get f 35 b lightning ii
Wow.
Wow indeed!

Is that real Lego?
Yes
You're wrong with the thrusters they move for thrust vectoring and air breaks Sorry this just got me a little mad😅
Perfect for popping giant balloons
Actually the helmet Doesn't read as much as you think
So much harder when you don’t have the set and just the instructions, and have to look for all the pieces
Do you still have the instructions? I am looking to buy a copy!
@@etmyt9416 no unfortunately not

How to watch the entire trolls 2 movie free
Buy the f16 f. F.

I found this because the F22 is my favorite jet
ได้เเค่มอง😔
Pls... stop yanking the camera around so fast, it's nauseating. Keep it in one place, and edit shots together, or move it gently.
Brick mania is way over priced
They have a huge overhead.. unlike most other 3rd party companies. I don’t think I’ve seen more cuts in a video in 10 seconds since Taken 3 and Liam jumping the fence. Jesus, it’s unwatchable.
