I often wondered how musicians and singers handled all that adrenaline and adoration on stage and then the quietness and isolation of being back in their hotel room or on their bus when the show is over.
Incredibly well done!!!! Love getting to see the “other side” of what we love so much. When those lights go down you may feel alone but we are all out here still thinking about all of you guys and appreciating everything you do!!! Not a day goes by without any of you. Can’t wait to see more
Love this!! What you do absolutely does matter! I brought my twin nieces who are 11 to the show in KCMO. They lost their mom 3 yrs ago unexpectedly. Ashley handed my niece her guitar pick. This made my nieces entire world. She still hasn't stopped talking about it. I wish I could attach the video or the picture the moment you made this little girl feel like the most important person in the world. Thank you!!
Great work, Quinn. Last Saturday night in Springfield, IL , Ashley gave my 10 year old daughter (the only child in the bar) a guitar pick. She said, "Dad, I couldn't help but cry when Ashley gave it to me." That gesture is something she will always remember. Her next goal is to get a pic with Ashley. Can't wait to see you all again. P.S. Quinn, I also enjoy Chasing a Caveman.
I enjoyed this so much. I have been following Ashley McBride for almost 9 years now. There's a song who's going to feel their shoes Lord who's going to feel their shoes. We have a great group coming up that are! Stay true to your country roots!
A awesome collection of well adjusted talented individuals having a shared and singular purpose. And that is being a part of some great Country Music. You Go Gang and we'll watch and listen. As we havin not being ''Made For This'' only can do. Happily ...
Being a Trybe member, this just brings us closer to the reason why we travel and seek each other. We love what you bring to our lives and in return we continue to show up so you get to do what you love!! MUSIC!! It's universal, it's a love language and it's a damn good time with Ashley McBryde and The Dead Horse Band!🤘Wichita here we come💋
I bartended in an arena for concerts and I loved getting the bar ready for the event! Sometimes we would have to go all over and under the arena. So exciting before a concert! So much fun serving people who are having fun! I agree that there is a rush rush rush all day and night and after its over nothing. I drive home dead tired but satisfied!! Wish I could do what you guys do!!
The feeling of connection your music brings is awesome. I am an Arkansas boy who joined the military and wondered a long way from home. To hear the names of cities that were a staple of my childhood in a song just takes me back. Your lyrics with the struggles of being on the road easily transfer to the life of a military person. You talk about being made for this. It was how I felt while serving. Play on woman you help so many get through an hour or day or a week by being the anthem of escape or perseverance.
So well done! I am a songwriter from Arkansas who started this journey at the age of 44. The thing that drives me is the interaction with people who like my original material. Having the ability to draw emotion from another human with a melody and words is a blessing. I think i am built to be a songwriter, and i will work everyday to perfect my craft. You are an inspiration to a fellow Arkansan, i hope i can write a song that people sing back to me. That is my life goal.
Hey Michael.... In a similar situation as you. If I never win a Grammy as a writer, that's totally cool. As long as I can touch one person with something I've written, that is a reward that makes it all worth it. I have a feeling Ashley feels the same way... although she is well beyond that point now!
You rock Quinn! This is awesome. Love seeing you guys on a personal level behind the scenes. Thanks for the sacrifices you all make being away from your families to bring us, your fans, so much love and joy! Been road-tripping since Mar 2018 to see y’all whenever possible. You guys and your music keep us going! You are never alone!!!
I tour with a mid-level roots/blues band, and I know I’m made for that life. I never wanna go home when the tour is over. I’d tour for months on end if I could. I like what your bandmate said when he said, “You have to have to.” That’s how I feel about playing music. I hope to catch you guys sometime soon. I really dig your music and the heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears you all put into it. Rock on and God bless!
This is wonderful! Thank you for sharing yourselves with us. You matter. What you do matters. And you help us see that we also matter. You are magic and it’s beautiful to experience the spells you weave. You give so much while on stage, it’s no wonder you feel alone when it’s over, because you have given us a piece of yourself to carry with us. Thank you. ❤️
My band (Stateion R) and Ashley's band did a show together about 15 years ago. You could just tell then that NOTHING was going to hold Ashley back. Im so very proud of her.
FANTASTIC!! Please, Please, Please continue to do this. I'm not on the road any longer. But, I'm still a working musician and no one understands this side of the business. I love the way you explained hwo it is such a high and then the show is over and you're by your self again. Loving everything yall are doing. Thanks so much.
Powerful! Thank you for this! Only a musician knows those pre-show highs and those after show lonesome lows. I can't imagine life any other way. It's all worth it! I appreciate your rawness and speaking your truths!
I love this on so many levels. It shows the real side of stardom. They mentioned the “post show low” and feeling alone, depressed afterward when everyone leaves. I work with Veterans in the substance use/mental health field. Mental health matters. It’s great to see someone with such a platform speaking openly about it ♥️♥️
Can't wait for the next episode, I love seeing your side of things!! Thank you all for your sacrifices it makes a difference in our lives! We appreciate u sharing this!! Love u all and how your music makes us feel!!
Love this! Everyone needs to see the joy along with the sacrifices for your dreams, you are all amazing for everything you do! Well done Quinn for capture the journey!
So very insightful and honest, thank you. Thank you to ALL involved. I appreciate being on the receiving end of the hard work/sacrifice/joy/love given ❤️ rock on 🤘
I'm such a huge fan of yours Ashley! Hope to be able to meet you one day! I have listened to the Never Will album on repeat. I really liked the behind the scenes inside to your life! Can't wait for the next episode!
Nicely done! Looking forward to seeing more. I will say as a music lover and fan, there’s a down time for the crowd as well. We’ve waited months to see you and in that concert we are having fun or dreaming of singing with you or waiting for that favorite song and if we’re lucking, a moment meeting you. But then we head to our cars and reflect on those moments and hope you come back our way soon. Keep on keeping on!
Saw you in Shreveport Louisiana with Luke Combs a couple of years ago. One thing that stood out besides your voice was the fact that you were just..... You. You said no spanks, nothing special, just you and your guitar. Keep it up!!
watching things like this reminds me of how metallic toured for 2 years straight back in the day without a real break, and the old vh1 behind the music of the Chicks (formally the Dixie chicks) interview with Natalie maines how her father a music producer told her you make albums for the studios to make money and tour to make money for the band.
It's a rough life ! Living out of travel bag ,cheap motels! And work that involved! And getting proper nutrition on the road ! Plus every venue /stage a challenge to dial in to give that real vibe! Retired 2 years ago from artist transportation and it's a life not for everyone! Your not at home ,the road your home and the stage is your playground with equipment, and creative spirit flying around but both feet on ground! Been there ! Good presentation of life as a Artist/ Musician!
Can I just say I'd jump ship anyday with you....so glad to have a real boss chic now..hun we needed a chic to fly our flag since gretchen lol you're priceless 🍺🍺🍺🍻
I love this! I’m awaiting Ashley’s next visit to Ohio so I can finally see you guys! I’m the one who was scammed out of money by someone posing to be Ashley. It was on her trip to Ohio a couple years ago. I had made a post on her fb about wanting to buy backstage passes and I had someone DM me saying she was Ashley and wanted to work out how I would pay for meet and greet tickets. He/she had me move from Adams to text messages. Anyways, I called my local radio station the next day and they were going to try to get in touch with Ashley’s producers so let them know what this person was up to. I had actually sent photos of myself to the person. (Not naughty ones, ya pervs...lol) so I was afraid to go to the show. It really made me mad because this was supposed to be a girls night with my daughter. So anyways, that’s my story....lol. So my question is.....when will y’all be back in Ohio?!?
Ashley,we have some cosmic coincidences, we gotta talk lady, your music has brought me through the worst shit (daddy in H with diabetic comps, both he &Mom suffering from alzheihers, My preacher daddy cracked up and took his life Dec 13, 21 with 12 gauge, i nursed my Mom til Feb 2023 ) Sorry I run on, but your music has been Huge in my survival. My name is Brenda.💚🙃🥰
Some of us are made for this....I drive a semi. Used to be a musician (classical) Road life is hard when you are away except for Thanksgiving and Christmas
I often wondered how musicians and singers handled all that adrenaline and adoration on stage and then the quietness and isolation of being back in their hotel room or on their bus when the show is over.
It’s refreshing to see intelligent honest people enjoying success.
Wow!!! Great insight to the other side of the stage
Incredibly well done!!!! Love getting to see the “other side” of what we love so much. When those lights go down you may feel alone but we are all out here still thinking about all of you guys and appreciating everything you do!!! Not a day goes by without any of you. Can’t wait to see more
