“Hi G45ers! This is Linh (@LVHandcrafted) and I’m sharing an Interactive Folio Album that I’ve added some easy modifications to so I can save some of the interactive elements for a second project! I love stretching my supplies when I can. I was able to save nearly half the interactive elements, which I’ll set aside for a future project. Check out these modifications I made!
I added spacious pockets to the inside front and back covers. These two additional pockets means I don’t need to use the pocket inserts that came with the Interactive Folio Album.
These pockets are so easy to make. They provide extra storage and they are decorative as well!
To make this unit more of a feature piece, I added a policy envelope closure to build some suspense before you open this. I used the Policy & Decorative Dies to create this simple but effective closure. This added little interactive element makes this element all the more special
I added the waterfall mechanism inside this fun flip out element. To make it work, I did trim off ½” from the bottom-most panel (the one that’s glued to the folio base). That does have the effect of hiding that fourth tab at the bottom, but it makes it fit a bit more comfortably inside this flip out.
