I own this beauty and I use it to play stuff from indie dreampop all the way to sludgy doom. This guitar absolutely rips. The pickups are really hot outputs
I play in a death metal band, just bought this guitar. It fucking rips. Only thing is that bending on the higher registers is tough due to the heavier string gauges and the wider scale, so not great for traditional solos. But yeah it's brutal otherwise. A beast for rhythm
@@mattdangerg that sounds awesome, though I was curious what tuning do you usually play in? I was wondering if the 28 inch scale length is too short for very low tunings
@@distortionto1066 this guitar came in drop A, which was awesome, but I restrung/tuned it/had it set up for drop c, since that's the guitar I needed. BUT if I had found this before I found my 7 string Jackson, I would have 100% kept it on drop a tuning. It sounded amazing, played perfectly in drop A!
Really dug that Jimi thumbwrap. That p90 is the best sounding one I’ve ever heard in a Bari. So much so that I went out and bought myself one today after being blown away by the feel and dynamics of this guitar. Absolutely fantastic job!! ✌🏼
That was my thought too, until I stumbled across the Danelectro 66BT. I don't own the Mondata Baritone, but as far as I can tell from all the demos, the Mondata sounds much more "muffled" and not nearly as vivid and crisp as the 66BT. But that's just my perception.
That second riff blew my mind
I know this doesn’t really fit the vibe but i would love to see this in a hi gain and metal setting. I bet it would rip honestly

@@mattdangerg exactly the info I was looking for. Does it neck dive?

Is there much noticeable neck dive? Also, do the pickups sound brighter than in demos?
This thing sounds so good. I need it
pickups seem a bit noisy aren't they?
It's a pretty hot P-90, so it's gonna be a little bit buzzier than most.
