    It's one of the most fragrant flower in the world, in the Philippines we call it in the same name, ilang-ilang.

    When I was a kid we used to have a big ylang-ylang tree in our backyard. During our home renovation its cut down. I never saw one in my life again till now.

    I'm not a fan of wearing perfumes, but the fragrance of ylang-ylang is reminiscent of the dead, long into the night keeping vigils.
