Thanks for another great review. This seems like almost the perfect DAC/amp I wanted for quite a while. WIsh you had the bluetooth attachment. Can't wait to see the magsafe / replaceable battery version actually offered for purchase.
finally, detachable/removable batteries for portable dac amps / dongles (magsave version) - one of the bane of having built in batteries for these devices is the hassle to replace those batteries when they become bloated....
Hi Andy as usual thorough detailed reviews. Your becoming a master audio tech expert. Love watching your reviews on audio. I have a question about the comparisons between this and the Muse M5 ultra? Are they similar in usuablity and function? I know the M5 has the tube feature which I love but what's your opinion for use with a android smartphone and portable use. I want the best possible portable sound setup. My iems are flare audio golds which is a single dynamic berrylum driver.
Thanks! M5 Ultra especially in Tube mode offers more air and overall warmer sounding in comparison to the solid state delta sigma sound of Team 1, Team 1 is more transparent with almost no hint of dynamic coloration. Both are equally excellent with resolution, just the presentation differs, and both I consider as rich with overall body of sound
Hello Andy! Is it possible for you to show us the most fashionable way to carry our DAPS and dongles together with wired earphones and headphones when walking outdoors? You look awesome while you're wearing your listening gears btw. Thank you.
Andy is spitting out reviews like non other does. Ps: bro be careful of snatch thief sitting at beside the road with all your expensive stuff. (Sorry uncle syndrome kicking in) 😊
I just came from your Ugreen HiTune video. I hope you can give me a little hand with a problem. Is it possible to connect those headphones to a windows laptop without one of their bluetooth adapters? Great channel!
Thanks! Yes of course both the Team 1 units can be directly attached to any Windows 10/11 PC without BT modules. Just connect the USB C directly, plug and play!
Q15 offers a lot more options and features beside being a lot bigger and heavier. Sound wise both are equally resolving and detailed, timbre wise, Q15 is more analog and exhibit some coloration in the lower Mids to Lows, Team 1 is transparent throughout all frequency range
As usual great video Andy! First viewer 🙂 What's the 90° usb-c cable you are using to mount the magsafe dac on your phone? It looks very good, if you dont mind can you link it?
DC07Pro over RU7 for me personally. And I would still also keep Team 1 especially the MagSafe version when I need my phone to have more battery longevity
They are tuned differently on sound characteristics. What to recommend depends largely on your personal preferences. If you like transparent crisp sound Team 1 might be more appealing. If you prefer something more analog, warm and very airy, M5 Ultra the one to go for. Otherwise both are already very competent with technicalities and both I would recommend equally. You just need to determine which characteristics you like more

How does it compare against fiio q15?

Unique design, with the modular bt addon itll be a bit too big to comfortably keep in the pocket.
As usual great video Andy! First viewer 🙂

Thanks!. The angled cable is included with the MagSafe version of Team 1
How is it compared to the Onix Alpha? My Team 1 in the mail. 😊
ONIX Alpha offers a more analog sound experience
The design is pretty unique. Somehow I have never used any audirect DAC.
Do they have Crossfeed function of some kind???
I don't think so
Hey Andy, if you could buy DC07Pro and RU7 for the same price which would you choose? Would you choose the Team1 over them?

@donglemadness thx Andy, so both are better than onix alpha in different aspects?
May I ask what kind of battery does it use?
Sinowatt 18650 Battery 3500mAh (SW18650-35HP)
@@AndyAudioVault 18650? nice. have some of those lying around. can't wait for it to release.
