After watching Mike be so deep in denial, I'm starting to wonder if he was the problem in his previous relationship because he sounds like a mess. The fact that the team was telling him not to send money and he's still insisting/asking like he wants to keep sending money just proves that he's just gonna keep doing what he wants to do. What's the point of these people reaching out but not wanting to make changes? Let him keep paying for his "light skinded" girl fantasy smh
It is odd that so many people in these videos don’t seem to want to take the advice they should know they will get, so why seek it out? (Though I think this guy is less deluded than most). I have to believe that in a lot of cases it’s another way to get attention, same way they are paying to get attention from an imaginary fake girlfriend or boyfriend.
As much as this old dude keeps telling us how wonderful and spiritual he is, he went completely for her looks. If she didnt look the way she does, he wouldnt have given her the time of day. Someone who is his physical equivalent, no matter how wonderful she is, would never get a second look from him.
Right! He is spiritual but lived with a woman for 10 years and never married her. Spiritual but cheated on his partner for a light “skinned” woman. He got what he deserved.
Yup. And Catfish pointed out there wasn't even any meaningful conversation from "her". He is paying for the fantasy of a "young hot chick" actually liking him.
The common denominator with all these people is the inability to ask themselves truthfully why a woman 20 years younger who could be a model would be into them
Right, but it's even more ridiculous when an older woman is contacted by a man that's 25 years younger than her who is handsome and could get any woman around, why would he want to be within old lady? That is not going to happen. Looking back I know I've had many of these scammers contact me. One of their lines is, age is just a number. They say that when I tell them that I have a child their age.😂 no. Age is not just a number it's actual real thing. That should be the first red flag. The second red flag is when they start acting like they're so attracted to you when they don't even know you. You haven't had enough conversation to even know what the other person is it all about and then they start saying, you're so wonderful. That's ridiculous.
also, if he is anticipating all this money then he should just look into sugar baby websites. At least with that there is less delusion: it's all up front, it's all out there. He would know that they just want money. Plus (this is the part that would make the most sense to me) he could actually SEE the person he is paying for companionship.
He said he’s was basically paying her rent? She’s “deployed” and on a military base. What rent? Why would she even need money every day? Makes NO sense 🙄

Regarding his fixation on light skin. Just because people "want" you because of your color doesn't mean that they see you as a human being with a brain, feelings, a personality, emotions, and more. To be sought after as an object of desire simply because you have light skin is not an assurance of happiness in a relationship. This Black man is pitifully old fashioned in his thinking, but there are many more like him, young and old.
Was he "fixated" on light skin or did he mention her skin tone as just part of his description of how she looks? I know skin tone can be a divisive issue, but I'm not sure he was/is "fixated" on this aspect of the fake woman.
@@lwscijunkie he was fixated and really thought that was one of the things that made her beautiful, actually the main thing. It's the first trait he named. That and long, straight hair. In other words, her non-black traits are what he wanted and he's a whole black man. That's sad and self hating.

He doesn’t want to miss a payment to her because he knows in his heart that only his money is keeping her coming. He was way too adamant about sending her more money.
One thing I notice with every single one of these scams is that the female victims are so delusional and the male ones are so entitled that they actually believe that these super good looking, famous, well educated and successful people have fallen in love with them. No grounding what so ever...
The sad thing is, he said he was in an abusive relationship with his ex. Then he leaves her to get into another financially and emotionally abusive relationship with this scammer. And he's going to do it again unless he gets some therapy
Narcissists claim to be abused when they're not getting their way. All we really know about the marriage is that this guy spent it alone in a room talking to much younger 'women' online.
@@nineteenfortyeight right. And he mentioned she would accuse him of wanting other women, and goes on to describe how he talked to this woman while in a relationship. She had reason to be suspicious!
This man was abused by his 10-year relationship??? I can't hear, but I can see body language and read captions and this guy is not at all what a long term abuse survivor is like. His self-esteem is through the roof and I don't believe him. He is GETTING SOMETHING FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS THAT MAKES IT WORTH STAYING.
I think the reason he refused to stop sending money was because he relies on that to keep “her” interested. I think he’s scared that if he stops, “she” will lose interest in him.
Yeah, that. And he figured that since he already sent about 40k then sending another $300 while waiting for the verdict was a relatively small price to pay to keep her interested in case she were real.
Guess before the show. His "internet girlfriend" is most likely his "internet boyfriend", and he's living in Lagos, and he's neither "light skinned" or "long haired".
If he gave her his social security number and/or bank account info when he filled out the “fiancé documents” he may never see the settlement money he was counting on.

Also a previous abuse victim. Sadly, being a prior victim makes you likely to be one again in the future. You'd think you know how to look for the red flags, but really all it means is you are easier to blind to slightly lighter colored red flags. As long as it never got as bad as the woman who was emotionally and physically abusive, he wouldn't ever notice it was bad.

like the woman who was shown ample proof that she was being scammed and then she unblocked the scammer and sent him more money. People who are caught up in investment scams do this. It's because of cognitive dissonance. It's easier and more comfortable to go in deeper regardless of cost, rather than face up to the fact you've been a complete idiot and have already lost a ton of money and it's entirely your own fault.
OMG right! That’s when I lose any sympathy for these fools. They’re arguing with the people that are trying to help them. That would do it for me, I’d say you know what? Keep sending the money then. Dummy.

She told me a story about someone scamming them back, and they killed him! Our government is too busy throwing it's own citizens in jail, then taking care of the real issues that affect them in everyday living! They're not thinking about what a partner can get out of them, they are only thinking about themselves
They don’t see an old person in the mirror. They don’t see themselves the way everyone else sees them
The sad (and sick) part is that he will be more upset about the scammer being dark skinned than being a scammer!
It’s not just old people!
Google “love bombing” and what it does to your brain. Can happen to anyone, even the smartest of people.
So kind of Sherry to give him that closure. She didn’t have to, she’s a victim as well. She seems like a lovely person ❤
He seems like a really really nice man too. I’m glad she gave him closure. He was crushed and set free at the same time.
True. I am truly in love. And even though she's married, we all have seen in this video that there are hundreds of single Sherry's out there. So I am gonna get myself one.
@@biancamichelle11he weird
@@cady__well put lmao
You' all joking right?
The ex is watching this beaming with joy 🤣😅
This same kind of guy believes that the stripper in a club actually likes him🤦🏾♂️
Or a actrice from Film, to sih : i love you! Like Marilyn monroe!!
Lol for real
Exactly!!!
Ducks lolololol
LOL!!
It annoys me that people approach this show for help and then continuously push back assuming they know the truth more than the professionals.
Because they're in denial knowing they've been scammed and are too embarrassed to admit it.
@@angelamcgahan2969but why coming to the show though ?
like the woman who was shown ample proof that she was being scammed and then she unblocked the scammer and sent him more money.
Dummy.
He's a scammer too...
His profile photo is at least 20 years old..😀
super nice of her to get on a call with him and help him through the situation .
No, she did that bc this shit is happening to her all the time. Now at least a million ppl who watched this episode will not fall for her pics and bother the real person afterwards!
@@ivanaandric5703 and also out of the kindness of her heart. She didn't owe him an explanation.
@davidbrooks1724 for true especially on the strength of how many people were using her image. She could’ve just said ‘D’ another one. After the CF crew relayed his story she felt sympathy for Pops.👍🏾😀
When he said he was abused physically and verbally I felt so bad. I don’t think anybody should be doing through that during a relationship. He’s such a nice guy idk why people take advantage of nice people
I think he gets validation for himself with the fact that he has money that he can sling around. He's fooling himself - he thinks his value is that he can be a provider and he doles out money to keep the hook baited.
Yes he was droning on about work and I was like “who cares.”😂
“it’s over you guys it’s over” THERE WASNT ANY RELATIONSHIP TO EVEN BEGIN WITH?? 💀
🤣😂🤣 he has to have the last word🤭
"blud, it was never under" lol
"She's beautiful.... She's beautiful... beautiful hair, beautiful skin She's just beautiful..." aaaaand that's the whole attraction. He makes it hard to feel bad for him
Yes, but judging people for their honesty is also wrong
All kinds of attractions.... physical attraction is often strong.....we are human beings and often make mistakes
I don't. Yet I don't understand how the United States Government is in to everything but helping its own citizens! My sister works at a major big bank and told me 75% of scams come from Nigeria! She told me a story about someone scamming them back, and they killed him! Our government is too busy throwing it's own citizens in jail, then taking care of the real issues that affect them in everyday living! Our law enforcement will spend millions researching ,surveillance, stalking sometimes up to five years! To see if a crime is being committed. Yet won't do a thing in helping citizens that are scammed by these monsters because they say it's too much money! We all pay for it in the long run! Absolutely disgusting!
I hope he blocks her or she take every penny’s he’s got
She a victim just as much as him sad so sad
I love when the real folks come on board and help with the processing. She was so real and patient.
Man actually seems to want to fight anyone who wants him to stop sending "her" money.

'Mike you shouldn't send her any more money'... "why not?"
You know, the more I watch this channel, the more I realize while you guys are providing great entertainment, these people are beyond help. They come to you because they know something is "off". But ultimately, they are willing victims, paying for a fantasy and living in a (make believe) world where they are loved by a person WAY out of their league.
Agree. These people are BEYOND help.
Right! There are only like 2 people I’ve seen so far that I truly felt sorry for.
Yep! Bought and paid for attention…at any cost.
Hello. And if you see the reactions, none of them cry for been scam. Is just as, ok, whatever, life sucks but is ok... No emotional reaction to knowing these people are a farce. It gets on my nerves...
@@Inked_Latina13 Those ppl? Honestly, everyone of them dove in, head first, most of them with avatar pics more than 20 years old (like this guy). Turning their backs on family and even attacking them.
Scam aside, should have been looking at her as a daughter, instead of out here embarrassing himself!
Facts. She is too young
💯
Why? Is she his daughter? Can't an old man fall in love with a younger person? Surely, this man went about it the wrong way, but there is nothing wrong with somebody his age falling in love with a younger person.
Stop sending her money and she wat she does and says. Just say that things not going the way you want
You two have nothing!!!!
He is old enough to be her father. that should be a red flag
