People are going to go crazy because you mixed the two different types of Frontosa lol appreciate what you guys do it’s awesome that you finally have a colony of my favorite fish 😃✌️
Love how you care about every fish ❤️ thank you josh you’re such a good soul ❤️ and such a lot of work and responsibility 😳 thousands of good wishes to Tracy and Bigrich 🙏🏻
So many great, new fish, for your facility. Hope you will find homes for all of them. Keep up the great work you all do. Stay fishy my friends and my prayers for Tracy. Happy fish keeping to all.
Awesome Rescue Josh. 👍 Frontosa are my favorite Cichlid. I have 15 of them in my tank. They are nowhere as big or as beautiful as those beasts you just rescued. What a score!
It looks like it has been really busy at OFR recently. It is interesting to see how everything gets juggled around to fit in new fish. What about Ohio Fish Rescue Lego😁
Wow!! That African cichlid tank is looking damn fine!!! Can't wait to see it after you add those new guys (including that beautiful dragon blood). Sending respect from Canada!
SMOKING JOINT those odd ball community fish are awesome! The 1,000 gallon is one of my favorite tanks they have and I’m a Central America fish keeper myself
I honestly don’t know how you put up with the crap some people say 🙄 Sounds like there are a lot of people out there who have quarantine tanks as large as their display tanks and the money to medicate twice the volume in said large quarantine tanks. Then there are those who assume because you are decorating it they must be staying there, would it be better for the fish to spend their time in quarantine without areas to hide in? According to some comments they haven’t thought about how it takes to quarantine fish or taken into account that most of your tanks run on one system and can’t be used for quarantine. Sheesh it’s not rocket science and it’s not hard to tell you do the right thing for your fish even converting your swimming pool to give them more room. I say great job guys and I don’t blame you for being tired and snappy. Best of luck from an Australian supporter
I'm impressed with how careful you are with all your fish big or small. I'm busy with one tank you have two full time jobs plus overtime with what's going on at you house. Keep up the great work.😁👍
It's a good thing I don't live close to OFR... I would be going over there to grab the fish they are giving out and the fish tanks would take over my house LOL
Love this and honestly think this colony is an amazing addition to the rescue and something that is a great educational fish for your purpose. The Frontosa are a major food source for the region they exist and keeping them as a representation of what they mean to their region in Africa is great learnings for those that come through the rescue. My only thought is I've come to understand that they are a deeper water fish so they might like a deeper tank and thrive with a solid dither fish swimming above them.
Very very beautiful AFRICAN CICHLIDS BELLAGIO tank. I can't wait to see it when it gets all clear up Also those beautiful frantosa, please to put me on the waiting list for some of the smaller frantosa and African cichlids I will pay for the shipping and all expense to get them to me here in canada thanks and and as usual stay fishy my friend.
We seem to have quite a few commenters, whom do NOT know, or are not familiar with fish-keeping. The frontosas are ONLY in the small tank for QUARANTINE PURPOSES. All incoming fish are quarantined prior to being put in a tank on their main water system, to save on having to medicate the entire 100k gallons on their system. Medicating 75-500gal is a lot cheaper, and easier, than the alternative.
Yeah I see that now. My video kept cutting out every 10 seconds and loading, when I was watching it earlier. I posted that, while scrolling comments, and waiting for the video to load, for the upteenth time. LOL! Their MO is usually one tank for quarantine, then moved to a bigger tank. Seems a bit of a squeeze to me too, for that many, at their size. But I am unfamiliar with the species. So I can not say. Edit: Oh, but they did say something about giving some away, so they may 'thin the herd' a bit before finalizing the 'frontosa' community tank population.
Man i love watching ya'lls videos. Awesome fish! Fronts are really an incredible thing to keep. Keep up the good work! I'm over in PA, id love to visit one day!
Hey Josh I've been keeping african cichlids for over 15 years. I would not give out any of those frontosa babies unless u tell them they are hybrids you have different locations of fronts in that tank. The deeper blue/purple look like a Zaire possibly Kapama location. The one you had previous and some of the ones that u just got have a solid stripe through the eye are the more common Burundi location which get a much large hump but not alot of blue colorarion. Also they are located in deep water and don't like alot of light and they do not do well with mbuna cichlids which are notorious for nipping at long fins. Mbuna need a diet more geared toward like spirlina and haps, frontosa can have some of that but are predators... hope this helps out
why do ppl keep telling these guys how to care for the fish? we only see a 10 min video and not the behind the scenes. they seem more than capable of carrying for them so why can't ppl just watch and be content?
On those large tanks U could even put a few short plants in the front and even a few mixed into the high points in some or those corals, love the back drop of those massive tanks
wow pretty fishies! I am thinking Vaca & Pittsburg must be the same sex as she doesn't seem to be bothering the other fish! Oh well it's all good 2 puffers are better than one! have a great week Josh & please can we get an update soon on the baby Koi? hugs to all prayers for Tracy
That many Frontosa deserve a Bellagio-sized display tank. Maybe in the future something longer will open up. I hope they all behave while in quarantine in the 350g for you. Dude, you really need a volunteer assistant just to do some of the grunt work like wiping the water spots off the tanks and cleaning stuff away. Too bad this pandemic thing makes contact with strangers such a high-risk proposition. Stay fishy. 🐟🐡🐟🐟🐟🐟 Stay safe. 😷
Frontosa are quality, they will need a bigger tank, you should use the 1000 on the other side of the pond, champsachrhomis careuls are lovely fish, pursuit hunter, put frontosa in a show tank
Do you have issues with the fish jumping out of the open tanks? Also how do you keep the pH right for Cichlids on the multi tank full filtration system?
I know it wouldn't be practical but that Frontosa colony would look epic in the empty 1800 Bellagio tank with the coral.
I was literally about to type the same
I agree but i don’t like empty tanks decor is always one of my favorite parts of a fish tank
Pittsburg is my spirit animal. Sits there in his tank with a dopey look on his face. I love him.
Those Bellagio tanks are gorgeous....glad you didn't listen to those telling you to get rid of the coral. Perfect tank for African cichlids !
It's chiclid heaven ❤ those frontosa look beautiful a fantastic addition to OFR .
People are going to go crazy because you mixed the two different types of Frontosa lol appreciate what you guys do it’s awesome that you finally have a colony of my favorite fish 😃✌️
omg~! The water in your tanks are crystal clear. Looks like the fish are floating on air~
No skip ad gang here that African Cichlid tank is Beautiful I love it
Another proud member of the no skip ad gang right here! Glad to meet you! 🙂🐟🐟🐟
Love how you care about every fish ❤️ thank you josh you’re such a good soul ❤️ and such a lot of work and responsibility 😳 thousands of good wishes to Tracy and Bigrich 🙏🏻

Another awesome rescue guys!
Play safe have fun. Oh Tracy is home. So cool. She is still in my nightly prayers.

Wow!! That African cichlid tank is looking damn fine!!! Can't wait to see it after you add those new guys (including that beautiful dragon blood). Sending respect from Canada!
Another Awesome Day! I'm Happy for those Beautiful Cichlids. They should do well in the Bellagio Cichlid Tank too.
Once the 1000 gallon gets empted the frontosa should be put in there that would look stunning 😁🤩
the bellagio tank fish & set up is incredible!
The Fronts look awesome, I like them in that short tank looking down on them, super cool
The Frontosas will look great in the second Bellagio tank.
Populier Vogel the community fish will look awesome in the second one
I would’ve put African cichlids on the left and Americans cichlids on the right side.
SMOKING JOINT those odd ball community fish are awesome! The 1,000 gallon is one of my favorite tanks they have and I’m a Central America fish keeper myself
I like the fact that the malawi trout is going to the bellagio tank
Such regal fish with great personality🥰
Great job Josh.
Love your ideas for the frontosa scape.
My first comment ever on you tube! Please put the fronts a in the second belaying tank! They deserve it! Please!!!

What a great way to start my day thank you. Love from Oregon
Love the videos always gives me a smile
That Frontosa in the 750 is now gonna have some friends :)
I honestly don’t know how you put up with the crap some people say 🙄

Awesome comment. I couldn't agree with you more.
Very well said! Agreed! 💜💜💜
My favorite fish ever!
I really like the idea of a Frontosa tank. If I remember correctly, you mentioned possibly doing one a while back.
Crazy how small all these frontosa make this tank look.
Wow! Beautiful colony that... i just hope la vaca doesn't go nipping at them... 🤞🤞 super job onve again Joshy 👏 👍
Big fan of y’all keep up the good work💯💯
Just looking so cool.
The 1000 gallon looks amazing. I can't wait to see how these guys going to complement the tank.
I'm impressed with how careful you are with all your fish big or small. I'm busy with one tank you have two full time jobs plus overtime with what's going on at you house. Keep up the great work.😁👍
I think the frontosa should go in the one of the bigger tanks on the oyher side of the pond 👍
Love every video keep up the good work guys!
I love Frontosa one of my favorite fish.
very nice looking Zaire Frontosa. and Zambian Frontosa blue
It's a good thing I don't live close to OFR... I would be going over there to grab the fish they are giving out and the fish tanks would take over my house LOL
Angie C me too. I would be there so often that either BR would have to adopt me or hire bouncers to keep me out.
Guilty!
The frontosa would look amazing in the 2nd bellagio

Those Frontosa will look good in the other Bellagio tank
I used to own one he was definitely the prize fish in the tank
Such beautiful fish, there so pretty love your idea for their tank. Lavarka probably bit pissed having them move in her space lol 😘

It would be awesome to see some frontosa go in the African cichlid tank
Amazing colony, have a small colony of 7 in my 210. Hope my small colony becomes half of this one day.
Very very beautiful AFRICAN CICHLIDS BELLAGIO tank. I can't wait to see it when it gets all clear up

That doesn't seem true since he talking about decor for these fish in the tank and that the other tank is for new fish.

@@stevenmotchan2048 ROFL! NOPE! But there is a lot of 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ going on. Haha

Beautiful! I love Frontosa
The champseechromis is a pursuit hunter, it will feed on the smaller Mbuna, you need to put the frontosa in the 1000
58000 GALLON POND! THEY would looking awesome in there and it will be a nice colony in there. And prolly some snack also.
The thing about being a rescue is that there is almost never anytime to rest and recharge your batteries for the next rescue. SFMF!
Think that trout would look cool in the Bellagio tank!

wow. OFR should have you on call for African cichlid expertise.
Frontosa in one of the bilagio tanks would be sweet
Beautiful fish!!!
Wow,they're awesome.
Its not a rescue...🙄
Its a jackpot 🤩🔥🔥🔥🔥
why do ppl keep telling these guys how to care for the fish? we only see a 10 min video and not the behind the scenes. they seem more than capable of carrying for them so why can't ppl just watch and be content?
Can you do a video dedicated to the new malawi tank? I just want to watch them for few minutes.
That could turn into one of the prettiest tanks in the rescue.
Sir you are doing great work lots of love from INDIA
Gotta love me some Frontosa.
Amazing simply cool. I love frontosa but people need space for these long term.
Love the mini tours!
Sweet Champsochromis Caeruleus! one of my faves....
Should put them in with the Malawi’s set up they go well togeather I find
Keep up the good work
Nice looking fish..👍
On those large tanks U could even put a few short plants in the front and even a few mixed into the high points in some or those corals, love the back drop of those massive tanks

The frontosas are going to the bellagio tank? The big ones...would be awesome !!!!
they only rescue big and beautiful fish. they are all show quality.
You need to put that Malawi trout in one of the 1800g tanks, he is cool.
I responded before the end of the video :)
love your videos! all your tanks are amazing!
That many Frontosa deserve a Bellagio-sized display tank. Maybe in the future something longer will open up. I hope they all behave while in quarantine in the 350g for you.

I like his shorts.
That is a score. That’s got to be a grand worth of fish.
Omg!! I love frontosa! Please sign me up for one of the first batch of babies!!
Texas holey rock would look great with the frontosa
Beautiful fish🐟🐠🐡
What meds do you quarantine with? Also, have you guys seen the frontosa display at the Chattanooga aquarium in Tennessee? It’s awesome
That Malawi trout is that the 1 that gets huge
15+ inches
Maybe having them eye level in one of the tanks accross the pool at somepoint? Be easier to view and enjoy.
nice fish
